Nokia 5800 Clearance PAYG available on T-Mobile, O2, Orange and Virgin.

Delivery is Free and £7.00 quidco too.

I know mobiles.co.uk were doing this deal but its out of stock now. e2save were selling it for 159.95 including top up before but they have reduced it to 139.95. i did order one from this site when it was at 159.95 and had to return it as the handset was faulty but for those of you who could not get it from mobiles.co.uk, here is another chance. and also, you will be saving 3.99 delivery charge as mobile.co.uk were charging for delivery + £7.00 quidco. so hot IMHO.

Cheers.

info taken from e2save site about clearance products:-

Reconditioned/Clearance Product

By using reconditioned/clearance stock, we are able to offer you even
further savings on your monthly line rental! These items are either
ex-demonstration, trial or mail order returned. These are not flawed
products although they may carry very minor cosmetic marks. For your peace
of mind, each and every handset has been quality inspected by our engineers
& reconditioned if necessary. Each handset also comes with a full years
manufacturers warranty. Please note that reconditioned handsets are usually
repackaged once tested and do not come in the original branded box. These
products are only packaged with a charger, other accessories and
memory cards are not guaranteed.

if you want a new one and willing to fork out a little bit extra then Dial-a-phone deal is great. here is the link:-

also, when i got the phone from them, it did not have the memory card. so i called them up and said that i want to return it as it did not have card. at first she asked me to read the details about the clearance products etc but when i insisted that i don't mind not having the headset and other items but i want the card so i would like to return it. she put me on hold for a while and then told me that they will be posting it for me. i received it a day after.

hope this helps. try and see if you can persue them. also, you have 14 days to return the product.

Lol, great price, terrible company.

See this thread for all fo the discussion on their clearance:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/395178/nokia-5800-xpress-music-red-clearan

I will admit, they posted it promptly, but their CS wasn't impressive - They were essentially selectively sending out the extras.

If you buy this clearance phone, you will get: Phone, battery, charger, usb lead (the long one, not the short one), manual and disc, and av lead. *edit* I don't remember if it had a stylus or not, I think it might actually as I may not have realised it was in the back of the phone o.O)

There is NO plectrum stylus, 8gb card, stand, or headphones etc.

But, at this price (it's even lower 'cos of all the ones we returned I think lmao) you can pick up a card for less than buying new. I'll also add the phone I received (and returned) was still brand new, which was nice, but I wasn't happy with it being incomplete :(

Still, for £30 extra, I'm happier with the brand new one :)

Heres an 8 gb card on Amazon:

NO STOCK LEFT !

Called e2save because their online system wouldn't accept my Mastercard, and was told that there is a problem with Mastercard authorization (will be solved in a week) and that there is no stock left of the 5800 clearance (no phones left, not depending on network).

Can somebody else call them on the 0800 nr and do stock check?
If no stock please expire this thread.

What was the fault with your phone? I got one from e2save on the last deal, and had to return my handset because of a fault with the mic! Please let me know. TIA!
#14
e2save are a carphone warehouse comapany, so pretty sure if theres any problems with your phone when it arrives you can just got to a carphone warehouse shop to ask for help.
#15

it would not install anything at all. always, came up with message - certificate expired. i updated the firmware and everything. it did not install genuine softwares either i.e. from nokia's own website.

Ordered, already suffering buyers remorse as a: should be studying and not buying things b: most importantly spending money!
#18
Has anyone ordered one on T-Mobile, reason I ask is because when my brother called them up to order it was mentioned in not so many words that the T-Mobile handset were more likely to receive the accessories? :?

I think they have a bunch of unlocked phones and just stick in whatever sim card you choose. Well thats what I am hoping anyway, not sure how easy it is to unlock these phones.

as others have said, great deal, crap company. Still waiting for credit to be added to the PAYG T Mobile sim i got with my last recond. phone from them. Everytime i call up i keep getting different answers - the latest is i have to go in to a CPW store to get it applied.

what condition did your phone come in? did it come with all its bits and bobs?
#26
not sure whether to go for this, not really fussed about the extra stylus or carry case. the memory card might be an issue, but i would be getting a 16gb one soon enough if i bought the phone.
just need some reassurance the phone wont be scratched, and will actually work..
#27
i'm the same. some peoples have come in brand new condition whereas others weren't so good. i guess its a risk or you can just get it from dialaphone for £177.
#28
Great phone for the price.... Amazing deal, But try one out in a store before buying...

You may not like the full touchscreen and no buttons....

Amazing phone with hundreds of games and symbian apps

bit of a big price jump though, i think it might be worth the risk to get it from e2save..
hmm.

I know it's £140 from here but then you may need to buy a Memory Card. So add roughly £13 for that... http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/-/1005/1250/-/3564175/Sandisk-Micro-SD-HC-8GB-Memory-Card/Product.html?searchtype=genre
So now you're at £153. Then there's the possibility of not receiving a stylus etc.... My point is, as DragonChris says, it may be better/more cost effective just buying a new one if you can get it for £177.

Personally I'm undecided on this phone. I currently have a Windows Mobile but it's about 3 years old so I'd like a new handset. I'd also like a 'touch screen' as that is what I currently have. I have not used a Symbian based phone before so I have concerns as to how it will 'feel' having been with 'Windows Mobile' for so long. I'd like a handset that can render web pages quickly and accurately as my current phone struggles a little and I have recently signed up to O2 with Unlimited Data package so I want to make good use of that when I'm out and about. I have TomTom on my current Win Mob and I use a Bluetooth GPS to receive a signal. I note this unit has an internal GPS. I was wondering if anyone has installed a Sat Nav package on the phone and if so how well does it work? If anyone could advise me on these issues I really would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
#32
Agree there is a risk, but at £130 it is a good price (I will use the topup with t-mobile so don't count it as part of the cost), already have a 4gb microsd if the card fails to turn up, though no stylus would be bad. The good thing is that you have 14 days to return it if not satisfied which is what i will do if it is in either poor condition or missing accessories that are essential or expensive to replace. Truth is you can't get that many phones that offer you these features for this price. plus you can watch iplayer and potentially tvcatchup.com on it.
#33
read up a lot on the phone, and the it looks really decent, just weary of the service i'll get from e2save..
starting to think, paying dialphone £177 would be a better idea just to guarantee a new model and the hassle of sending it back, paying postage and losing out on £10 top up.
i think im gonna wait it out till payday.. in the meantime i need to upgrade my o2 simplicity tariff from online 15 to online 20 anyway to get unlimited web bolt on to take full advantage of the phone. by the time i've done all that, it may be cheaper and back in stock at a better company..
#34
Don't think e2save have any stock, allegedly my order should be delivered for anytime tomorrow but their website only says order received?

We'll see what happens.....
#35
Just received:
We are prioritising your order to ensure you receive your new mobile as soon as possible. Due to the current UK stock levels of this product we anticipate a small delay in dispatching your order. We anticipate that this delay will be no longer than 7-10 days.

aahh...well

Mine arrived on Saturday. Looks new - came with everything except the memory card. Pleased with the phone so far. Thank OP.

My one is on its way thankfully!

#39
yeah mine arrives, no extra stylus or memory card, but happy with that as I already have a 4gb and hopefully I won't lose the main stylus.
#40
Yup, my one arrived this morning. Must have dropped lucky everything but a memory card, the phone is sim free no network branding at all and only 53 seconds on the life timer!

Ill be the first to say thanks e2save! :w00t:
