I bought one yesterday and it was only in stock for around an hour before it went out of stock again. In stock as of 11:31 today (have a print screen for proof)
EDIT: Still in stock 13:20

Even if you want it on another network, it will still work out cheaper to buy this and pay to get it unlocked. Which is what i am planning to do when mine is delivered.

This was the same deal that someone posted a few weeks back - but that was expired when it went out of stock and i cannot find the thread again.
So instead of wasting more time in searching for it i started a new one so at least some people can get one.

Also i got 3% tracked through TopCashback.

How easy are these phones to unlock, and once unlocked is all the functionality still available?
#2
i dont know if you can lock them yourself. Getting it done online or at the major shops, i have been quoted £15 - £20. At a smaller phone shop near where i live they said they could do it for £10.

I dont know if i answered your question, as you might have meant how easy it was to lock it yourself.

As far as im aware, everything is still available when unlocked, but dont quote me on that. Hopefully someone else will clarify.

£169.99 on Vodafone @ Play and PrePay Mania if wanted on Vodafone

i just paid to get mine unlocked, everyone was quoting £15 so got it done locally.... I was quoted £10 to get it debranded but that is quite easy with a few online guides.... So mine currently has the original nokia firmware in it....

Can i ask how much you paid to get it unlocked in your local shop?

And Iv heard about debranding, is that taking all the t-mobile stuff (i.e. name on screen) off the phone?

Also why are people voting cold (heat is fluctuating), when i have seen some places selling REFURBISHED 5800s for more money.

Even the one you had before had Orignal Nokia firmware on it..

Nokia brand it to Display T-Mobile or what ever logo on it and when you unlock it..

All you are doing is removing the SIM restriction.

will this work on three once its unlocked?

there's free to download software called JAF you can use to unlock it. all you need is the usb cable. there is also an emulator file that replaces the box that phone shops use so you can do it home!

Sorry it was £15 what I paid as I called about 5-6 local stores near me and they were all charging the same [Coventry]... Even the local market stall guy said £15 to me.....

I used this guide to change the product code:
http://www.ariyako.org/2009/04/changing-nokia-product-code-using-jaf/

Not sure why they have a poor background cos its difficult to read, but that wasn't there before.... Also after changing the product code you then use the nokia firmware updater thing and that will think you have a non branded phone and so update the firmware with a non branded firmware.... Which obviously removes any branding [software branding only ;)]
