If you go for a 12 months FREE line rental (12 month contract) deal on Vodafone network with CoolNewMobile please read this for successful cashback claims. I’m leaving this info for everyone’s benefit after answering a number of PMs on this topic. This is applicable only for Vodafone contracts via CoolNewMobile (such as the Nokia 6233 above or Sony Ericsson W810i, Nokia 6630 etc).

Vodafone have dispatched the FIRST bill nearly after a month of the contract start date unlike other networks such O2, Orange etc where, the first bill is sent out within days of connection. As a result, the original bill you should send for each stage of the cashback claim is different. The scheme below is compiled based on the details provided by a HUKD member.

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w302/bucketandbucket/vodacnm1.jpg

As seen above, the bill for First Claim is the 4th bill which shows 120 days of connection and so on. Make one like this, based on your Date of Connection and Date on your First bill, for successful cashback. All cashback applications must be submitted within 30 days from the corresponding bill date and by recorded delivery to:

MOBILE AFFILIATES LTD
Claims Dept.
PO Box 8895
Bingham
Nottingham, NG13 8XA

A copy of the claim form can be downloaded here.

Please post if you have any further queries.

Yeah... leave a reason so that we can discuss :)

Dont have a clue why its cold...I think its not bad...I've had that handset for just under a year and must say its top...may not be feature rich as others available but still a good deal!

As a double check, I added another column to the spreadsheet and added the "number of days connected" to the original connection date so I can check against the bill date.
Am I right in saying you send the bill that comes immediately after the date you qualify for cashback?

So for example, after 120 day connected it would be 13/7/2007, so I send the 15/7/2007 bill as my first cashback?

cyrus2050 :- It all depends on the date of ur first bill :)

Not sure what you mean by claim date ?

Thanks for clearing it up edi - makes everything a lot easier, still, seeing as this is 'free' if you claim right, this is an awesome deal.

btw, I can't find the thread where someone said it, but if your under 18 but have a solo (or switch I forgot), which you need to be 16 to get and u can use online, can you lie about your age as long as you don't go through the company provider (voda, orange, o2, t-mobile, etc) directly and still be able to pay/claim alright?

Sorry for the grammar and all I'm just rushing it while its hot!

You need to be 18 to get a contract deal. This is essentially a credit application & requires credit clearance. Falsifying age is not a good idea as this could be revealed in credit check :)

However, I'm not sure about Switch/Solo alternative and its best clarified with CNM over the phone (01270 755322)

Ah I thought so - although as I said before someone on this forum said something about 'lying' about the age and they've been successful for a while now.

Seems the minimum characters required for search is 4 which means I can't search 'age' small similar words to find out who it was hehe,.

A question for Edi - I realise that you cannot port your number through CNM on this deal - could you port your number to this deal through Vodaphone?

The only thing stopping me from taking a contract with CNM is I need to retain my number. Both yourself and Duckmagic seem to singing their praises.

The only folks allowing 'porting' seem to be Buymobilephones.net - but folks seem to be negative towards their reliability.
