Yes, it went a bit mad earlier today. I think their site is getting blitzed.

Just wanna say.. cracking phone!!! Had it 5months now, got it the day it came out.. not bored of it yet nor broke it!!!.... by this time last year I'd had 6 Nokia N70's!!!!

Get the black version, the silver and white versions look tacky!! Black looks very stylish ;)
#5
Thanks for the pointer and feedback guys :)
#6
Is that the follow up to the 6230i?

Cheers, Dio
#7
In a nut-shell.. yeah :)

6230i will always be a great phone... but the 6233 has a much better screen, camera & has prob the LOUDEST speakers in a phone, on sale today!!!

Trust me... this baby is loud!!!!

Anyone know if this will work with a Virgin sim?
#9
You could always get it unlocked???
#10
Uses BB5 software so phone company has to unlock it for a small fee. Great phone (my wife has 6234 which is Vodaphone's branded version).
#11
Do T mobile lock their 'pay as you go' phones? I was under the impression that they didn't. :S
#12
I thought tmob unlocked all their phones.
Will tmob unlock phones for a fee?
#13
Virgin will work in t-mobile phones, but t-mobile will NOT wrk in virgin phones.

Network will unlock for about £20 i think
#14
Is this a 3G only phone ?
#15
3G web browsing

not video calling ?
#16
It's a 3G phone but without video calling - which is only handy if you know people with it
#17
If anybody buys this phone, please could they inform of any T-Mobile branding on the phone casing and also the phone software. Thanks :)
#18
i'm tempted to go for it, only problem i have is i need it unlocking. anyone know how easy it is to get it unlocked by t mobile? can i just ring up and obtain it immediately?
#19
just check local stores :( no where has them (snif snif)
#20
Just bought this phone. It's great.
The phone has network lock, but it's not a problem because the operator T-Mobile it can unlock this MasterCode. And by the way you get a new SIM card P.A.Y.G. from T-Mobile.
It's a real bargain.
#21
what store did you get it from?
#22
I've seen tmobile work in virgin mobiles, so dunno where you got that from?
I'd still be interesting to know what Tmobile charge to unlock this.
#23
Just got my old contract upgraded to this new phone. It looks great. Currently have too many mobiles so I am thinking to sell it on ebay.
#24
If getting an unlock code off T-Mobile is anything like Orange, you'll have to wait 7 - 10 days.

Hoddesdon store has stock, if you're anywhere near?
#25
where is hoddesddon may i ask?
#26
Hertfordshire ?
#27
I have bought it @ Strood (Kent, ME7 xxx)

Its has a t-mobile logo just below the screen. In the menu theres a T-zone icon and web n walk icon.

Also Ive used virgin sims in tmobile phones and theyve always worked.

Try St Albans Spencer St. if anybody is nearby, they still had stock. Very Good phone.

Would a T-mobile contract sim card work in this PAYG T-mobile phone without having to get it unlocked? I've had this problem with Vodaphone before.

I too would like to know the answer to this question! :viking::santa::thumbsup:

I have reserved this Mobile at my local store, Tunbridge Wells.

However due to the rather rubbish reserve and collect system I managed to resverve one at 2 other local stores! I kept putting in my postcode, it told me it was in stock so i entered my email and then it kept saying Out of Stock! So i tried different stores! But after about an hour i got emails with the reservation codes saying they have been reserved!

Does anyone want to take these reservations? Crawley & Maidstone! These are now showing no stock thanks to my reservations. Sorry guys & gals!

As for the question of working with a T-Mobile contract i will let you all know tomorrow when i get my hands on one!

Sorry if my first post is a bit rambling & doesnt make sense! Great forum everyone - keep up the good work. I've been keeping a close eye on the deals since the November when I was told about it!
