First off, I know e2save do tariffs that are 12 months free and 12 months £1.99. However those are on the 200 minutes 200 texts tariff, totally different. These are 400 minutes 500 texts. Useful for people like me who needed more minutes.

Anyway, this particular tariff on the Nokia 6300 (plus others though not many) is on their website working out at £7.49 per month. I took it out today then had to phone them to confirm a few things.

At that point, the lady offered me:

Online originally - 10 months at £1.99, 2 months at normal £35, total £89.90, works out £7.49 per month.

Over phone - 12 months at £2.99 if I bought a 1gb memory card at £19.99 (overpriced), total £55.87, works out £4.66 per month with (essentially) free memory card.

They have different deals over the phone it seems so worth asking them. There may be an alternative to the £1.99 for 12 months too if you buy a memory card, no idea.

And don't forget Quidco at £36.50 (mine has tracked already, though not validated).

Before you crap on this deal, read it properly. It's not the 200 minutes tariff that is available free and the basic point is the improvement in deal when you phone rather than online.

Redemption - Cashback, most deals are via cashback at the moment, only worth considering with decent reputable companies like the CPW group, P4U group and Dialaphone.
Will you get Quidco for buying over the phone?

Totally free here, with Quidco and more minutes too.:whistling:
You get better deals on Vodafone. I personally couldn't go onto Voda though as I wanted to port my number.

And I ordered it online and then talked on the phone about it, so I got my quidco.
They had them online for £2.99 a week or so ago, so you could have had Quidco as well, but like OP said you can get 500 mins / 500 texts for 12 months free at M2YD.

Why couldn't you port your number?
