First off, I know e2save do tariffs that are 12 months free and 12 months £1.99. However those are on the 200 minutes 200 texts tariff, totally different. These are 400 minutes 500 texts. Useful for people like me who needed more minutes.
Anyway, this particular tariff on the Nokia 6300 (plus others though not many) is on their website working out at £7.49 per month. I took it out today then had to phone them to confirm a few things.
At that point, the lady offered me:
Online originally - 10 months at £1.99, 2 months at normal £35, total £89.90, works out £7.49 per month.
Over phone - 12 months at £2.99 if I bought a 1gb memory card at £19.99 (overpriced), total £55.87, works out £4.66 per month with (essentially) free memory card.
They have different deals over the phone it seems so worth asking them. There may be an alternative to the £1.99 for 12 months too if you buy a memory card, no idea.
And don't forget Quidco at £36.50 (mine has tracked already, though not validated).
Before you crap on this deal, read it properly. It's not the 200 minutes tariff that is available free and the basic point is the improvement in deal when you phone rather than online.
