This phone is available from carphonewarehouse for £150 on pay as you go - £145 after quidco so if all you want is the phone it is probably better to buy a pay as you go handset then you won't have to take out and contract and go through all the cashback headache!

Indeed the 6230i rock solid phone.

However the 6233/E50/E60 I think are considered to be the successor of the 6230i for the high end business phones.

except the 6233/e50/e60 were not marketed to the masses and/or never had the populist appeal of the 6230/i - which is still a very popular payg choice. The 6230i has long stopped being an exclusively 'business' phone, if ever even was. The 6300 appears to be targeted at this same broad market with the promotion and availability to back it up.

This seems to be offered on O2 and 2 other smaller virtual networks so I think it is, O2 PAYG ones definately are and other forums are reporting its unlocked on the O2 offer
