Just changed my mobile contract and I thought this was a reasonable deal (sure someone will correct me if Im wrong)

For £35 over 18 mth you are getting 750 mins calls and unlimited texts on the 3 network, the "free" phone is a nokia 6500 slider. Not the worst phone out there though there are better Im sure. This was as good as I was able to get with t-mobile so thought , ok, then the assistant said I could also choose a "free" gift. I cant remember all off the list, but there was the 80gig PS3 with singstar, an x-box, laptops, and more. Ive fancied a ps3 for yonks, so perfect for me, might not suit everyone though.

I hope you got free internet included.
And you are right, the phone is not a good choice and when it goes wrong the 'customer services' are notoriusly bad. Worth a risk if the deal is good but not for this.
Check out some mobile forums before you decide next time.
Sorry, cold.
wouldnt touch 3 with your barge pole never mind mine.......rubbish company
If you are going to use the calls etc its not the best but certainly not the worst. Unfortunately most people on here manage to renew their contracts with a top of the range phone ie Nokia N96 for about £20 per month.

Effectively you are paying £15 x 18 = £270 for the playstation and £360 for the contract and not having the 'top of the range' phone.

However, if this does not bother you then its not a bad deal. Possible worth trying dialaphone as I have used them for 4 12 month contracts over the last few years. I got a Nokia 6220 (sat nave etc), £100 automatic cashback for £30 pm. I sold the phone for £200 on ebay effectively making the contract cost £5 pm.
