I am a current Three user, unfortunately some may say. I have been assessing my upgrade options and was offered the package of a Nokia 6500 Slide in either silver or black on a 12 month contract with 500 minutes and unlimited texts for £25 a month with upgrade available after 9 months. The handset was free

I don't know if this offer is available for new Three customers. The Three store online only appears to offer 18 month contracts.

Play.com offers the same phone sim free for £199.99. The total cost over a 12 month period for this phone is £250.

i got 400 mins 100 text n the phone free about 7 months ago.

phone is absolute rubbish. nice to look at but the software is poor.
cant do nothing on it. the most annoying factor is, since the 7210 on the nokia's, if you set an alarm, it always gave a count down like 6 hours till alarm. this doesn't which really gets on my nerves.
also had many problems with the software, latest addition is the alarm does not let me set an alarm in pm. its set to am only.
also can only set one alarm only.
plus since iv added a 4 gig memory card, it freezes everytime i switch it on n i have to manually take the memory card out or it wont go off the plain white screen.

like i said, nice phone to look at, a [email protected] to have day to day. just a couple of months left till my upgrade n cant wait.

You can get this phone on Orange Dolphin 15 with £50 cashback via Quidco and thats only £15 per month (although it is an 18 month contract).

...and you get hardly any minutes on Dolphin 15

I had this nokia 6500 for £20 per month on a 18 month contract with 1100 min talk or text with 300 three to three min's and £62 quidco cash back so it work out to something like £16.53 per month i will be paying.

Not the best deal out there but not a bad one either, my nokia does eat its battery tho i must admit, not sure if its due to there being no signal in my works building which makes the mob use alot of battery to try find one but its annoying as hell.

On a 12 month contract? That's a bloody good deal even if not! I tried all the tricks to get a good deal and this was the best they could offer.

yep 12 month contract, and i can upgrade in 9 months time if i want. I was on 750 mins for £17.50 before i upgraded, they said i could have any of there latest phones, after i had picked the w910i i said i would only carry on if i could have it on 12 months. he put me on hold and came back shortly and said ok. The phone was supposed to be here today, but they missed the time for the courier and it will now be here tomorrow.
