Is it true that the reason T-Mobile discontiued this phone (maybe other providers also), is because the Titanium casing was actually bouncing the signal resulting in dropped / missed calls?
I heard this from T-Mobile staff but dunno if it is billy bullsh*t.

i thought they dropped the phone due to poor battery life? 2 batteries in one day.....

if u r looking for a real fone .. this is not the one ... it used to be a show off accessory .. it s been around for long time now .. surprisingly ,it s still expensive .. cheaper if u get it on a contract ... not worth the money . Voted Hot though ... wish i could do warm ...

Great saving pricewise, not the best phone though

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know when the Nokia N78 is going to be released?

Have had Samsung phones for the past 2 years and am sick of the rubbish sound quality, so going to revert to the less stylish (IMO) but more functional Nokia. I want something that is not a brick but is still feature-heavy, and the N78 looks like it could be the closest to what I am after.

Just as an alternative, i got a free upgrade through T-Mobile for the 8600 Luna.
Much nicer phone with abetter display i believe.
I would never go out an purchase this offline - way too expensive for what it is, however, for a nice looking, no frills phone (that was free), it'll do nicely!

It's due in Q2 of 2008, so hopefully within the next 5 months? :) Probably sooner rather than later.
