Not sure about this one, but mainly bringing it to the attention of HDUK users. Battery life if we can believe it seems incredible. It also seems a bit of a departure for Nokia to start making Netbooks (Unless Branded) Maybe this is the future of Mobile telephony?? I am sure it will go down like a lead ballon, but I suppose this is why HDUK is around :-)

See post #5 you can buy direct from Nokia £150 cheaper!

processor spec can be found here http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=35463

Description

Powered by the efficient Intel Atom processor, the Nokia Booklet 3G delivers impressive performance with up to 12 hours of battery life, enabling people to leave their power cable behind and still be connected and productive.

Delivering the rich experience of a full-function PC inside an ultra-portable aluminum chassis, the new mini-laptop weighs 1.25 kilograms, measures slightly more than two centimeters thin, and has the features one would expect from the world's leading mobile device manufacturer.

A broad range of connectivity options - including 3G/ HSPA and Wi-Fi - gives consumers high speed access to the Internet, including Nokia's broad suite of Ovi services, and allows them to make the most of every moment and every opportunity.

The mini-laptop also comes with an HDMI port for HD video out, a front facing camera for video calling, integrated Bluetooth and an easily accessible SD card reader. Other premium features include the 10-inch glass HD ready display and integrated A-GPS which, working with the Ovi Maps gadget, can pinpoint your position in seconds and open up access for a truly personal maps experience.

The Nokia Booklet 3G also brings a number of other rich Ovi experiences to life, whether its access and playback of millions of tracks through the Nokia Music Store, or using Ovi Suite to sync seamlessly from your Nokia smartphone, to your mini-laptop, to the cloud

I think they are basing the price around Mobiles!! But if you could get "Upto" 12 house use out of it when in 3g mode, I suppose this is their argument. I cant seem to find any reveiws as it is so new
I think I will be sticking with my Dell Mini 9 with inbuilt 3G for a smidge over 220 when I bought it :-)

Great stuff £150 cheaper, dont know how expansys will survive at that difference, at least with Nokia direct you can get Quidco as well, if you are prepared to part with the cash

This laptop uses the same Z530 and Poulsbo chipset used in the Mini 10 which is horribly slow even compared to a regular N270 Atom netbook... I wouldn't buy this even for £200.

At this price it better come with free mobile broadband for life, even on the moon and no restrictions apart maybe on Alpha Centauri when the solar winds are playing up.

I know what you are saying, yes its expensive etc etc..., but is HDUK really all about finding the hottest deals out there?? Personally I use it not only for deals, but also for ideas for my next gadget buy.

A good example of a "so called" Hot Deal is this http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/576187/hand-sanitiser-only-1-tesco-2-bottl sorry but wtf are hundreds of hduk'ers going to be dashing down to tesco tomorrow?? I dont think so

ps thats a great review by the way at the symbian website you have posted

I will never buy anything from expansys - myself and friends have bought items which have been grey imports but not listed as such, and also in one case an "as new grade A" item was very old and tatty. now I've learned my lesson.

I would aree with you but the general consensus is a middleground we need price to quality ratio. I would love to have it, but price is mad for an atom, i wish nokia priced it better. A good starting price would be £400 max 500, I guess they are hoping to go for mobile broadband contract deals so its subsidised.
