Please be aware that this is quite an old car kit, I've got one and am just about to remove it as call quality is very poor and it never automatically conenct to me phone.

It is the latest version though V5. I have one in my car and auto connects to my Iphone 3G perfectly. Its great if you dont want stupid little LCD displays all over your car. This is just a nice simple button to answer with volume control and Voice dialling if your phone has it enabled.

Works fine for me I have had mine in for about 3 years now

apologies mines about 5 years old so prolly an original version, used to work well with Nokia phones but its hopeless with my iphone so have just upgraded to an ioplay.

OP states professional install required however if you're competent enough to change a stereo then this will be no challenge for you.

Easy to fit, just 4 wires (permanent live, switchable live, earth and radio mute), decide where to fit the unit usually behind the dash/centre consul, connect up the mic by running up rubber trim on the door, fit speaker down near foot well and answer button up on dash somewhere easy to access. Going to be fitting one of these in a ford focus for a mate....will prolly take about half hour...........The only problem I've ever found when fitting hand free kits is figuring out which wire on the radio I need to connect the radio mute and also finding a permanent live inside the dash...as I can't be asked to run the cable out to the engine bay!!
