Via mobiles.co.uk I have ordered a Nokia E5 with 1200 mins and unlimited texts after redemption and adding on o2's internet bolt-on the total contract price for an 18 month contract is £450 even though the monthly rate is £45/month as you get 10 months free.

Right now it is best to buy phones PAYG and getting a Sim only contract via Tesco. Cold.

But I do need the internet bundle and I cannot see from Tesco's website how you add this? For the E5 the total cost works out about the same, but thanks as I hadn't thought of that route so will have a look closer, if you know how to add internet to a sim only tesco contract can you let me know

Just found this re: tesco sim:
Not suitable for smatphones
There is no Internet access included, so the deal is not suitable for smartphone customers. However, Tesco Mobile is expecting eager uptake amongst bargain-hunters and younger users.

So back to the drawing board

Yes looked round and don't know why this has gone cold, however can safely say that PAYG is NOT the best route to go if you use data, which many people do.

Apologies yes just saw the £10 tesco sim only deal, only problem with that is they do not stock the e5 to go with it and can't be bothered with the hassle of going to 2 differnet sources, if I could be bothered I would save approx £50 over 18 months.
