Just what I needed and after a quick look at a couple of unboxing HF310 videos on Youtube I purchased one. :)

This unboxing of the HF310 simply made me laugh..... "Let's see what we have in here"..... Well if mine arrives like that it is going back!! ;)
Unboxing of the HF310, Let's see what we have in here?

This one however whilst not in English, gives a feel for what's in the box, size and ease of use, if not how well it works.

My concern on this would be it's stuck to the windscreen = "steal me", be honest every time you go out would you stick it on/off dash.

If you take a look at the second Youtube video linked to above you will see that the speaker is attached and removed from the mount very easily (one of the appeals) by twisting 90 degrees and if you want to remove the whole unit, the video shows that the the suction action on/off is a twist action to attach and remove. HTH :)

Of course not. The iphone is only compatible with special iTooth devices not generic bluetooth device. Don't worry however the Apple certified iSpeaker is currently on offer at the iStore reduced to £129.99 so i recommend you hurry up before they run out of stock.

Sorry, not interested at any price. Perhaps there's a reason these things keep getting reduced?...

"Motorists who use cellphones while driving are four times as likely to get into crashes serious enough to injure themselves, according to a study of drivers in Perth, Australia, conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The results, published in July 2005, suggest that banning hand-held phone use will not necessarily improve safety if drivers simply switch to hand-free phones. The study found that injury crash risk didn't vary with type of phone.

Many studies have shown that using hand-held cellphones while driving can constitute a hazardous distraction. However, the theory that hands-free sets are safer has been challenged by the findings of several studies. A study from researchers at the University of Utah, published in the summer 2006 issue of Human Factors, the quarterly journal of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, concludes that talking on a cellphone while driving is as dangerous as driving drunk, even if the phone is a hands-free model."

So these keep getting reduced because studies say its still as dangerous to drive while speaking on a phone while driving, as when you are drunk?

The point is, this deal is a good one when compared to the other prices for this product at the moment, and seems to get good reviews from what I can see.

People buying this are doing so to give them the choice of using their mobile phone, whilst driving, and staying within the laws of the UK.

Maybe studies will show that a Parrot bluetooth in car kit is worth nothing more than a fiver for the same reason, and maybe then I'll get myself one of those. For now though, this will do, and I have ordered two!

Now i'm going for a pint.....

I wonder how they got this result. Whats the difference from talking into a handsfree and talking with a passenger (or kids trying to kill each other in the back!!)?

Are you saying no one is allowed to talk in the car coz you may crash?

I bought a wireless mouse from the Ebay Argos store described as New. When it arrived the packaging was messy - complained and they gave me a partial refund within 48hrs. Net result really cool wireless mouse for under £7!!

The biggest difference is that other occupants in the car can see an incident arising which needs the driver's sttention (either from outside or your body language) and shut up to let you concentrate, whereas someone at the end of a phone cannot and will carry on rabbiting on and expectign a response.

This would be true for all those who are deep in an important conversation, or those who would rather talk than concentrate on driving. My brother in law is one of them.. he wouldn't reverse his car so i could reverse park infront of him, when i looked at him, he was on his phone. I had my reverse lights and indicators flashing him in his face! Made me wait 2 mins blocking the street.

I was with him once while he was on his bluetooth.. he pulled out onto oncoming traffic! they had to brake hard and horn... i almost shat myself!

Yes but he's not an amature either, he is a taxi driver! (passed his ADT)
