Update: Some people are saying they can get it even cheaper over the phone, £34.99 !

On the site the price says £49.99 + £20 top up

I phoned EE (0800 956 6000) to ask if I could put my existing Orange sim card into the phone and they said any Orange/T-mobile/EE sim will work in the phone.

I was about to hangup and order online when he asked for my number to check for 'further discounts'.

I gave him my Orange number and he offered me the phone for £39.99 without any top-up required as a 'pay as you go upgrade'. Free next day delivery by courier.

Personally I'm not a big fan of Windows phones but I think it will work a treat for my slightly older mother ;)

im with t-mobile with my contract due to end 12th march 2015.
I just phoned ee and the best they could offer me was £49.99 for the phone only.
abit dissapointing as I only wanted to use it for games. no calls or anything cause, and ill say it. the ee 3g network is terrible, ever since 4g came out.

And that's why posting (customer specific) retention deals are a waste of time.

Thank you very much. I would not have known about this - I was in the market for a phone - managed to get it for £34-99 as I had a combi sim which had not been activated yet (£1 ebay deal that I found through hotukdeals) ...kerching !!! Very pleased as my son has this phone and well amped with it. Thank you for highlighting the offer :)

I have just done the exact same. Amazingly, I was only asked for the phone number but wasn't asked for the sim card number so I could have been anybody just phoning up and claiming to be the owner of that sim.

Amazing price for a pretty decent phone.

Whats the Denim update??
They've aged to the point where Cords are not cool so they now want Jeans to wear.
After the summer they will be releasing the faux leather leggings update.

Anyone know how much an unlocking code is for this?

I called up asking for this as I have a EE contract... They said £50 + top up

Gave them my old orange payg number and offered £35.

I ordered one, They didn't sent any order/payment confirmation text.. Just took my number/address/payment and told it will get delivered on Thursday? Is it same for everyone...?

There seem to be a lot of unlock options for these on ebay, Vodafone is cheapest at £6.90 yet EE is £24.50!!

You could also enquire at your local phone repair/unlock outlets to see how much they'd charge?

Got one thanks !!! Heat added

For the money hot. I am waiting for the 535 though as it is a much better device and will do to scratch my windows phone itch.

THE SPECS SAY ITS 8000GB WITH EXPANDABLE MEMORY UP TO 128000 GB. Maybe some negotiating could help you bring down the price because of the mistake!?!?

Got mine for £34.99 + £20 top up. Not bad as I've only had my EE sim for 3 weeks. Thanks OP.

The one I ordered arrived today and I'm actually really impressed so far. The screen is very good quality and the keyboard is very easy to use and accurate. It seems fast opening different apps and so far I'm finding the OS pretty simple to use.

Much better than most/all 50-100 quid Androids I've had. Not exactly an in-depth review but a 15 minutes hands on gets a big thumbs up from me. I'm personally rocking an iphone 6.

The phone isn't actually for me but I couldn't help but have a play with it.
