Yea, there used to be a loop hole whereby you could get the upgrade price by using the mobile site.

They closed it by changing the final step into an error message... It's been like that for ages.

I had the 630 for a while as a work phone and it was hot garbage. Wouldn't connect to wifi properly and kept getting email errors where it would only pick up email over Wifi (which the phone didn't like). Had to go back to Android

Been using the 635 for 3 weeks now, it's been running flawlessly. It's been a fantastic replacement for my Galaxy S3, even though the S3 is technically a better phone, since the latest android update on it, its been a buggy mess with "unstable WiFi" and constant crashing.

I actually fixed the S3 by putting Cyanogen on it, but I just wanted something different in the end.

Arvy1. Its a no brainer. WP all the way. The reason for ios and android L flatter design is WP. The best form of flattery is imitation.

Do you have to use the top up now and then to keep to the t&c's or can you just put your own sim in it and use it as a sim free phone?
#22
Guys I bought this last week and noticed it was not holding the three internet signal, so I did some research and found others having same problem evidently three think you are tethering with this device so I phoned them and they agreed to put me on the old one plan which allows ultd tethering as from the 3rd of August. I never got a message saying they thought I was tethering until just now. So for the time being I will have to go back to my trusty moto g . Ps my current plan is 1000 mins ultd internet ....just a word of warning if anyone is planning to use it on three

Once you've paid for it you can do as you please with it although it would make an expensive coaster ;)

Partner was just about to buy this in store but stopped when realised it didn't have a flash. The next windowsphone up with flash was the 930 at £350. They went for a Moto 4G instead.

Wow I didn't know any phones had a flash these days, my son has a moto g and after I bought my 635 he says he prefers it by far to his moto,

This is the second windows phone I have owned and it a pile of disappointingly bad crap 512mb ram so memory for apps is tight. The screen is slow, and as it leaks data like a sieve it is definitely NOT recommended for Pay As You customers unless they have deep pockets. I think they should change the brand name to Dyson, as, apparently they consistently SUCK...!

512MB RAM? Oh dear!
