My daughter had one of these ... for 3 days!

She said it was truly awful to use, not sure if it was windows or the phone?

She loved Nokia's in the past - but she was terribly disappointed in this.

Now she has a Samsung S3 and absolutely loves it.

It's cheap for a reason, and that reason may be because it is a terrible phone all round?

Sometimes it's better to spend a little more and get something lots better.

Having just read your comment I have cancelled my order. It must be crap because it's £149 and your daughter doesn't like it. I definitely have more confidence in your daughters opinion (via you) than I do in the opinion of the huge amount of reviewers and owners who actually have real experience of the phone, including myself as I have had 4 Win Phone 7 devices up to now. Thanks for helping me to see the light. Please let me know how things work out with your daughters new phone. I will buy one if she (via you) thinks its great. I'm so glad people like you come on here to give opinions regardless of knowledge. Thank you thank you thank you.

Exactly £3.98, and considering i paid £129 for my Nokia Lumia 710 on O2 from CFW this is a really good deal.

Hot hot hot deal. Will have Windows Phone 7.8 update soon and you can even unlock the phone to install custom ROMs etc if you are in to that sort of thing. I expect there to be a hacked Windows Phone 8 ROM in the next month or so :D Keep an eye on XDA-Developers http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1381

specs are here (no slot for micro-SD cards) but 16gig onboard may not need it but would of been nice to have it

my mrs wants a new phone after the disaster i bought her (tmobile vivacity), was at CPW today and the 710 was at 110.00 which seemed reasonable, but this seems even better, is there a major difference between the phones? mrs never used a smartphone before, so is it worth paying the extra 50.00??

Extra £40 only and this is a much better phone than the 710.

you are right its 40 not 50, the screen on 800 seems better compared to 710

This is an excellent phone, my wife dropped a jar of cooking sauce on hers and shattered the internal LCD screen, they wanted £140 to replace it!!!! I was going to get her a lumia 710 tomorrow but have just ordered this instead. Hope they fulfill the order and don't run out!
I have a galaxy s2, and while the lumia doesn't have as many apps, it still has plenty to keep you happy. The phone is also much nicer. When my contract is up ill be getting a 920.

Hot! Just got the orange deal, wish I got this - hindsight and all that though but at least my £30 quidco tracked on that. Heat added!

Smart Price for a Smart Phone.

Has anyone had an issue with the battery life on a Nokia Lumia 800? I heard the batteries can only cope with a day of average usage without having to be charged up. I currently use a N8 and considering to buy this model.

saying that since n8 update seems poor ?
have both, sim reader went on n8 or would still have do not bother keep your n8

Ugh. Just bought this a few days ago at £199.
Does anyone know if ASDA has a policy about reimbursing for price cuts within a certain period of time?
Thanks.

I am torn. It is such a good price, but the Windows 8 phones will start being released over the next few months

I've had my 800 for 2 days now, first day the battery lasted for 20 hours due to having a good play around with it :)

Yesterday I charged from 5.30am until 7.30am its still on now (using the mobile to post this half a battery left)

I do recommend unticking the find my phone options in the settings (amazingly the feature still works but is less of a drain on the battery)

Just yesterday outed my "upgrade" iPhone 4s for £370 having decided to stick with my trusty HTC, this is a no brainer for me...
Nabbed one - Cheers OP :3

An ongoing problem with tech; "there's always something better around the corner" - the decent W8 phones won't be at this price you may be assured. Sometimes you just have to recognise a good deal and jump in!

That screen display makes it look like one of the most boring things ever created. I hope there is a way to change it.

Was going to order, but quite mixed reviews on Amazon. Not a big fan of Zune and looks like the battery life is also awful. Probably expecting too much at this price point. :)

It's a great phone and beautiful to use, but the battery is very poor, if battery life is important to you get the 710 as you get all the same apps. They're both great phones and huge bargains at that price

It's a great phone but the battery life is poor, the Lumia 710 has a better battery life, if music is your thing you get free music with Nokia Music

It states as being unlocked but can it operate on 3 network?
