  Seems like a really good deal after redemption, it's a £350 phone and this works out at c.£350 so you're getting it interest free for 2 years with calls, text, data thrown in. Only thing to consider is if 500mb will still be a good amount of data in 2 years time.

  seriously considering one of these, my only concern is the battery which I understand isn't user changeable, I always carry a spare when travelling, anyone know for sure?

  It isn't...unibody design...I think the only solution is external battery chargers (there are such for Symbian, you have to check if there is anything for WP but I am pretty sure there should be)...
  
  tatterttatter...500 MB is enough for 90% of people, obviously a power user will need 2 GB at least :)

  With daily recharging you'll want a replacement battery long before 24months are up, carrying an extra charger isn't much of an alternative. This YouTube video shows what's involved in swapping the battery - about 4min in he gets to it. Seen worse, think I'd want to avoid doing it though.

  500MB is not a great deal .. if you use facebook sparingly, youtube not at all and push email (without any attachments) you will get very close to 500MB each month
  
  .. divide it by 30 and you get 16.67 mb/day which equates to less than a youtube video per day on its own or if you use push email (bear in mind we all use html emails nowadays which are min. 100k each) and a bit of facebook thats your lot
  
  ... sometimes i get my 500k warning text from vodafone a week from the end, sometimes a couple of days ... sometimes i'm ok .. but as i say i have to take great care which attachments i download PLUS i have wifi on all the time at home/work which is a lot of the day
  
  if you limit yourself to 500k then take care like i do and its manageable ... i forgot to switch wifi on one month at home and after watching a youtube clip got my warning sms a couple of days in to the month !

  yet thats true . i have 1GB on vodafone started 4 days ago and i am already on 760MB left...
  and i am not downloading anything , just e-mail browsing a lot...
