I know there are others who share my experience, of being told conflicting things regarding the free Nokia wireless charger offer.
I was told by 5 EE stores that the free wireless charger offer is for contract phones only.
a fact that, while I knew wasn't true (due to hearing other people's success stories) I couldn't prove.
Until I popped in to the Cheapside EE store near my office in London, I spoke to an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable sales person, who explained to me that the offer was open to all Lumia 820 and 920 handsets that were sold with a 'connection' and didn't specify anywhere contract only.
He said he'd be happy to give me one if he had any stock. - I explained the trouble we are all having getting a single answer out of any one store and he told me about the internal memo that went out explaining the deal.
I asked him if he would print me a copy.
Incredibly, He obliged.
Below is the memo sent to EE stores from head office;
The key paragraph is at the bottom of the page:
"To help you drive sales we will also be giving away a free Nokia Wireless Charging Plate with every connection to one of these handsets.".....
"In order to process the free accessory, just scan the handset and accessory as part of the same transaction. The £39.99 discount will then be automatically applied."
Needless to say, I walked in to another store around the corner, explained the situation, showed my original reciept, and this memo, they took note of my details, then I walked out with my wireless charger.
I hope this helps some of you guys get your free chargers too.

Should be in all EE stores, however some of them wont sell the phone on pay as you go as they claim to not have enough stock.
I'll be taking my £459.99 920 back tomorrow to get this instead :p
If you're an audiophile, this phone is unbeatable unless you go for specialist equipment. Nokia music is fantastic as well. Infact pretty much every nokia app is fantastic.
Its streets ahead of any other phone in every area except apps. But from what I've seen, the apps are higher quality than the android store equivalents, and given how easy it is to port native windows 8 apps to windows phone 8, the store should fill up in no time.

This is the experience I had at first. I had to go to five different stores before they would let me buy one. You would think they would want the £400 sale!
New name, EE, but old habits die hard!
Also be careful, you won't get any returns from EE if buying instore

Ok, look at it this way, even if it was an equally as good device, the nexus is still pretty much half the price. Much 'hotter' deal.

If you think its too heavy then, other than looking extremely foolish and ladylike, you appear to have much more severe issues at hand.
This is in addition to being terrible at trolling.

I forget the logo and go for the name alone, that's why I bought this on Orange! X)

High spec phone, get a lot for your buck, however, I held one for the first time yesterday, and I have to say I felt let down by the lack of quality feel to the handset. Gave an unsatisfying plastic feel, what a shame, so I shall be looking elsewhere.
Hope Nokia sell them though, I know they've thrown a lot of money at this handset. I don't wanna see the company fold.

Nexus 4 8gb is £239
Nexus 4 16gb is £279
Lumia 920 32gb + wireless charger + wsc headphones = £400
so for £120 extra you get 16gb more plus a charger and headphones. Pretty good deal
Agreed, very expensive
Thanks for your input.
Phones4U one should be arriving this morning and will be going back tomorrow ;-)
£400 for a phone that's nothing compared to iPhone 5 is expensive.
Try learning English then come back.

My dad is better than your dad.
Love the price, thanks OP!
I have a htc which reboots as soon as you look at it, and have a 10 year old nokia which is still going strong.
Gone onto monthly sim waiting for the prices to drop. This phone is my first choice, but unless prices drop I will be forced to take a nexus 4. Not because its the best, just the fact that I can buy a 16gb nexus for me and an 8gb for the misses for less than an iphone 5. Pretty hard to argue with that.
