The conditional description in the advert seems to be useless tbh

only one there, it'll be gone soon.

I want to like Windows phones, I really do. The more competition on the smartphone market the better. But I can't see this being a better buy than a load of Android phones at this price point, eg the OPO.

Cashconverters have some instant buys around this price point. Got a black one for £230 last week (though locked to Vodafone). Also there's a Rakuten deal someone posted for a new one around £289

I just don't like the Android interface and the Windows phones do the basics really well. This has a brilliant screen and camera and I like the size without dishing out for an iphone 6

CeX have dropped the price of grade As as well. It's a great phone and I love Windows Phone. The lack of popularity make these depreciate faster than Android phones which make them an absolute bargain 6-8 months after release. My 920 is still going strong, probably will get at least another year out of it :)

Well at this price point the oppo is way more. But this is open box so not fair.

You're right that in general there's not a lot to choose between a lot of the high/mid end phones. But I'd say the 930 does seem to have the better screen/higher ppi, better back camera, optical stabilisation, video light, wireless charging (currently free charger and speaker too and 30 quid cheaper*), to name some. OS is a personal pref, so not going to compare.

Of course, the oppo does have its merits over the 930, but I've been biased and glossed over those :) and to reiterate, you're right there's very little to differentiate at this level, but to me the 930 does seem to meet my requirements. If you wanted slo-mo video, better front camera, SDcard and removable battery then the oppo would possibly be better for you

*Oppo is £320 pre order and the Lumia I currently cheapest at £289 I think?

You're comparing a different phone to the one that I mentioned. I was talking about the OPO, (OnePlus One) which is around £220 for the 16gb version. OPPO is a company name, not specifically a phone. You would be meainging something like the OPPO Find 7

My first thought was that you were talking about an (unspecified) OPPO handset as well. (_;)

Might switch from Android to WP, possibly the 1030 if it comes with a pureview camera. I just don't use phone apps apart from the essentials any more and they look great with an interesting UI.
