    This phone is reconditioned...

This should be mentioned in the title really..

Probably worth pointing out that this is a reconditioned phone, also that this is the "Black" version (just an alternative colour scheme to the silver) and not the Music Edition - the Music Edition has a different (music) button, some different themes and comes with much bigger memory card and a nicer pair of headphones (which are black and match the phone) - this one comes with a piddling memory card (32MB IIRC) and a pair of white headphones :( (if you want it can be flashed to the ME firmware by carrying out certain tricks which void the warranty). The deal is also now saying "plus Free Accessory", not "plus a free phone". The N70 runs Symbian V2 - not the latest version, so most recent software won't work on it. (You cannot change the version of Symbian).

Still a cracking phone - a fairly chunky handset but it looks very nice; the 2MP camera is reasonable quality (but lacks a real zoom); the software works well (if you void the warranty and flash a decent non-orange firmware onto it) and it can take at least up to a 1GB RS-MMC. It can also handle Nokia Maps. There was a version of TomTom for this (Mobile 5) but is discontinued now (so tricky to get hold of) and the latest maps are incompatible.

But apart from that its all good. :-D

They have a bunch of reconditioned phones with free postage starting at £20 and probably with £5 Quidco available.

I think its a rubbish deal.

you can buy Brand new N70's from vodafone for £72 on Prepay. They've been this price for a while I got one last Novemeber for the same price.

Voting cold, because Orange recondition phones don't work properly after a few weeks. When I took out a contract with them few years back I had a NEW Nokia N70 with my contract. Then when it turned faulty they kept replacing the handsets with faulty handsets that died every 2 months.

If you want to make is music edition its very easy and you can do it for free. Music Edition is just has different themes.
    Just follow this simple guide:
    http://www.esato.com/archive/t.php/t-139556,1.html

All your doing is change the N70 product code and re-flashing using Nokia Software Updater.
