Do you know anything about these cashback deals and the hundreds, if not thousands of people on HUKD who have successfully done this? This is not too good to be true... it is true!!

i fancy the nokia 6300 deal they have on vodafone.

anyone know if i can port my old number from 3 ( i have the pac) to a vodafone deal with this firm? i seem to have read somewhere that porting to vodafone has complications but cant find anything right now!

EDIT; just found some info on the website. they cannot port to voda. in this day and age that is blooming ridiculous!!

am i right in thinking i can take out this contract on vodafone and then i can port my three number in at a later date and not have to worry about coolnewmobiles policy at all?

edit; i have just read a port by reestit mutton that explains the problem with porting at a later date. voda regard this as a major change and cancel the contract and issue a new one. therefore the retailer does not receive their comission as the contract is broken and hence will not pay cashback to the end user in these circumstances

hmmmn, surely i can port to a vodafone payg sim first and then merely migrate/upgrade number to the vodafone contract sim and therefore not cause a breach of contract. any experience of this?

pmx9, i have a similar thought. i always wonder why vodafone is so difficult. i have not a problem with Three, orange a bit trouble with O2 (which only allows to be done within the first 30days of connection).

i really want to get some of their vodafone deals such as this one, 6300 and k800i. but losing my number is a bigger deal.

really want to know is the instant cashback adds onto the £420.

already got one from phoneboxdirect (from same company of coolnewmobile), excellent smartphone, hope the caskback will be as reliable as other big company

Unfortunately CNM does not allow porting numbers to Voda. However, BuyMobilePhones.net allows number porting to Voda Online for free at the time of purchase. They have 12 months Free deals as well and according to ducky, our mobile master, they are reliable for cashback.

Important cashback info

If you go for a 12 months FREE line rental (12 month contract) deal on Vodafone network with CoolNewMobile please read this for successful cashback claims. This is applicable only for Vodafone contracts via CoolNewMobile (such as the Nokia N72 above or Sony Ericsson W810i, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6300 etc).

Vodafone have dispatched the FIRST bill nearly after a month of the contract start date unlike other networks such O2, Orange etc where, the first bill is sent out within days of connection. As a result, the original bill you should send for each stage of the cashback claim is different. The scheme below is compiled based on the details provided by a HUKD member.

http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w302/bucketandbucket/vodacnm1.jpg

As seen above, the bill for First Claim is the 4th bill which shows 120 days of connection and so on. Make one like this, based on your Date of Connection and Date on your First bill, for successful cashback. All cashback applications must be submitted within 30 days from the corresponding bill date and by recorded delivery to:

MOBILE AFFILIATES LTD
Claims Dept.
PO Box 8895
Bingham
Nottingham, NG13 8XA

A copy of the claim form can be downloaded here.

Please post if you have any further queries.

i will neverever trust CNM, cashback is a joke. you will never get your cash back in full amount,if you are lucky to get it. and the customer service does not help you at all. i would say pls stay clear from this or any other deals from CNM and do yourself a greatfavour.:x :x

yes, you can request the network to unlock the hanset. more detail can be found in sim locking policy by ofcom
http://www.ofcom.org.uk/static/archive/Oftel/publications/mobile/2002/sim1102.htm

voda would charge £19.99.

not sure if it's free after the initial 12mth. (Unlock at any time, but only pay the fee if unlock within first year)

or you can go to a local mobile store to unlock, but not sure this phone can be done, or it might, but at a high price.

You have been lucky indeed. My wife had a line through CNM, they only paid once then started making execuses (wrong bill, early claim,...etc). She did everything exactly as mentioned in their terms and conditions but unfortunately, it is impossible to prove which bills have been sent. I would never recommend them or deal with them again.
