I upgraded to this from a iphone 3gs & am happy with it so far especially the 12m camera, free sat nav, fm transmitter, better battery. Also makes calls!
Ordered 16gb memory card. The nokia ovi suite is much easier to use than itunes, just drag & drop. True about apps not being as many as apple but they are adding more each day.

If its from Vodafone then it should come already unlocked otherwise you can go to your local mobile phone shop & they should unlock for you between £10-20. I also hear that you can ask your network provider to unlock for you (sometimes for free) if you ring them up and tell them your EMEI number.
Hope that helps

Yes, but this is on Tesco Mobile, I've heard these are quite difficult to unlock.

Not voted either way as price may be good. But my unbiased opinion is that the above statement is spot on.
I have a HTC Desire HD, and my missus has an iphone 4. Her friend has an N8 which she cant get the hang of and asked me to take a look at it.

The N8 menu system is appalling compared to the HTC and Iphone. The display is great for video and photos but the normal display screen looks blocky and cheap like an Alcatel.
Her particular phone has changed languages on its own accord and screens that used to come up to say texts had arrived have now disappeared.

It is not very user friendly and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I almost got one of these, and am soooo glad I resisted and held out for the Desire HD

bought it...and returned it. Terrible phone for 2010/11, good for 2007

Its a excellent phone & will be even better when they release the new update! I like everything about it apart from the web browser.
