Well the title says it all!

QUidco are offering in total 10% of all handsets. Which means the N900 is £375 sim free unrbanded and unlocked!

Brilliant price for a phone that uses same hardware as the iPhone but is better with camera, GPS, has a keyboard etc. etc.

Use code AFFUK15 to get 15% off. Code apparently expires 21/10/2009, but can't be certain.

Then use code SOCUK15 - to get another 10% off - thanks to jawad2601. Quidco tracks at £49.90

Quidco is 10% for Nokia.

There is a 15% code on QuidCo but...

"The voucher code offered excludes pre-order phones."

The N900 is only pre-order at the moment

Edit: the 15% code does actually work though :)

hot for me

i have just preordered the e72 and the code works for me!!!! hotttt

6700 for £165 with quidco.
#5
Great, heat added.

Somtimes codes and Quidco don't work so well together, cancelling tracking etc, though users above seem to have done ok so far. Plus, never rely on cashback, as there is no guarantee. Heat added regardless,
#6
I am looking at three phones at the moment.

This one - N900
The Palm Pre
and the HTC HD2.

Just can't decide. Guess i will have to wait until they are all out.

This deal seems good - Heat added.

If it does work, discount is not 25% on total value of handset. Im sure quidco only gives discount on total of invoice, so £424.15 - 10% = £381.74.
#8
I'm VERY tempted to go ahead with this considering my anticipation level for the N900 is off the roof!

But still a little weary about the code being "excluded" from pre-orders, but yet actually working at the checkout..
Does anyone know if the discounted price would be final, despite that little quidco clause?
#9
The N900 looks like it'll be free on Vodafone and T-Mobile for about £35 per month over an 18 month contract including 'unlimited' browsing: http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/Pay-As-You-Go/sc462/p26078.aspx

i have ordered the e72 which is on preorder and my discount worked fine and did come off

Just noticed this comes with linux, rather than symbian. Does this mean this will be customisable with different OSs and all that good stuff?

I know the discount works, but I was wondering if the quidco exclusion clause for pre-orders would
still stand, in so far as Nokia possibly informing you at a later date that they won't accept the code
on the grounds that it is a pre-order?

Or better yet, did they actually charge your card there and then? Or will they wait until they ship it out? Sorry for my rambling! Thanks!
#13
Use the code below to get 15% off all phones and accessories:
Code: AFFUK15

The voucher code offered excludes pre-order phones.

this is what it says on quidco for the voucher

The Nokia Maemo platform is fully open, unlike the iPhone. There has been a port of Google's Android to the earlier N810 tablet (no GSM/3G onboard).
#15
ordered n tracked, if they dnt honour it cancel the order, still a few weeks till the ship date

Someone is actually SELLING this information about how to get 25% off from Nokia!

Mmm tempting. The previous N800/810's were good pieces of kit which I played with quite a lot. They were only let down by not having phone module and having limited software support.
The software support angle is the only thing stopping me from getting my credit card out as the first phone using this platform. I'm sure it will be highly likely you could port Android or windows onto it, a friend ported android onto his HTC Touch HD using info from the XDA Developers forum, maybe check there to see if anyone has had a go at a demo/pre-release version.

On the contrary actually, the N810 had loads of applications for it. Far more than the symbian. You just need to add all the different repositories for it. There are out there somewhere, I can't find the webpage, but it had a single link where you could just add all the repositories in one go.

what a low scumbag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#20
are there any other codes available?

I'm looking to buy one of these - and this is the best offer around at the moment, presuming quidco tracks.

Seems pretty likely the best contract to combine this with is either one of the mobile broadband contracts from three - or the £5/month broadband PAYGs from three.

HOWEVER - Please note that these phones currently have a bug which rejects three sim cards - they are working on this - but you might need an alternative for use at first!!!!

Details are here; https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5315

I seriously doubt such a bug would be left in the final firmware. That just for beta testers anyway.

Internet is good on this, but still want mins and texts. I've got an upgrade for my O2 CPW contract in november/dec so will want internet, just in time IMO.

However the Acer A1, SE Xperia X3 and few other phones with 1Ghz processors are coming out, so this is not a clear cut choice. Nokia have some serious serious competition.

No - it will be fixed in the firmware as soon as possible - however note the date of the bug-report - 16th Oct 2009, and that it's "known internally already"...

Also - watch this Video on youtube - note what happens when he tries to use a Three sim card...

This bug will be fixed, but if they ship like they promise to - eg. near the end of the month - then this might not be fixed on early 'release' versions of the phone...

can't wait for mine!!!!!!!!!!!:)

I've made an order on Friday but still doesn't appear tracked on quidco. Have anyone managed to track it?

Ordered on Friday too, mine has not tracked. Wondering if to cancel order and retry again or simply be patient.

Has anyone had any success using 15% off code and Quidco tracking over last few days?
#27
you can save more with this other code,SOCUK15.
You can use both codes AFFUK15 and SOCUK15 at the same time.

this makes the phone cost £360.53 then you can get 10% off with quidco aswell.

How many days did quidco take to track your order? Also what browser did you use?
#30
it tracked the same day, and i used internet explorer

Quidco should track pretty quick - witthin a few hours. Also the browser you use doesn't matter i the important thing is you clear the cookies (and the whole browser history) and then login to quidco (remembering to click 'Remember me').

I place my order in openSUSE 11.2 using Firefox 3.5.3, tracked fine - order place at around 5.50pm and tracked around 9.30pm (at least thats when I logged into quidco). Firefox is my web browser for tracking quidco as I use opera as my main browser.

BTW - Nokia USA says release is End of October, whereas UK says November.
#32
Just re-ordered via Firefox and it tracked, thanks for the advice! Tracking took about an hour.
#33
I did cancel mine, re-ordered at 19.30 doing exactly as rash said but without selecting remember me at quidco login. Still nothing tracked.

I am on three mobile broadband and only extension in firefox is the adblock+

Cancelling my order again would be awkward

I'm pretty sure I've order via 3 mobile broadband and quidco has tracked (i.e. three network is not interfering), unsure about adblock+, I only use firefox for quidco, and the odd browsing here and there.

This is normal procedure I use and it never fails:

Clear COMPLETE history (everything!), close web browser wait about 10 seconds and start up again, then clear everything again, then type quidco.com and login to quidco making sure I click remember me.

I complete the transaction - slowly making sure the page is fully loaded before proceeding - I just complete the transaction in on fell swoop I don't look around at other handsets etc. etc. once I've made my decision and the only thing left to do is buy - thats when I log into quidco and do the transaction.

Thanks for you reply rash.
Do you first login into nokia and then going from quidco? Cuz what I did first was to logged in to quidco then went straight to nokia from quidco link, select n900 and insterted codes, logged in at nokia and finaly pay from my order.
Well I will wait untill tomorrow evening and if still isn't tracked I'm going to cancel it and re-order it again for the last time :)

No, the way you did it seems correct, but clear your cookies and browser history before you log into quidco.

Its no longer possible to use both codes together. I tried to use both to order E72 but it only applied the SOCUK15 code.
#38
ordered and quidco tracked.

Thats too bad - i've ordered it at £360, plus quidco tracked at £50 so should cost me only £310.

I wouldn't be so confident if I were you, they might cancel the discounts and also you mite not get the quidco!
#40
In Quidco website there is a line which says that

Use the code below to get 15% off all phones and accessories:
Code: AFFUK15
Valid until the 21st Oct 09.

The voucher code offered excludes pre-order phones.

Since N900 is preorder, i have a feeling that Quidco will not be honoured.
