i gues depends on your area, we have a few contracts at our place and we are ok with them

Agreed. If you are lucky enough to live close to a really good transmitter or in a really good reception area then this may be good.

My point is, is that you can have five bars on your phone, and still not get calls!

I have 2 lines on Three and they are excellent service and reception.

The customer services are also good and open longer hours others.

i used to get that with Orange, they were really bad, the worse of everyone.

I agree Orange is the worst followed by T mobile.

well i only cant receive calls in my house everywhere even down the south coast fine, but just not in my house.

the problem i have with 3 is there customer service is terrible.

Customer service is terrible and they mess with the OS to make the phone's performance uber carp! Had an n73 from them and it was so slow it was almost unuseable... Have gone back to O2 on simplicity on my old 6233 - much happier :)

reception wasn't a problem for me, it was the aftersales, customer services and constant cock ups on my bill.

I purchased direct from three online with a reduced line rental for the life of my tariff.... which only lasted three months. I would then get billed full whack and have to call them back to apply the credit. Each call took around 30-45 minutes.

I would not recomend and wouldn't go back to three, even if the phione was free and the line rental was reduced to £0! :x

Iv'e had 3 for a few years never let me down anywhere.Theres nothing to choose between any of the networks now all have good and bad areas.

really?

Yep. My mother had a 3 phone a couple of years ago, used to happen all the time. I thought it was a one off and because of the ****** handset, but recently I changed jobs and one of the blokes at my new place (who I have a requirement to phone regularly, as we work in the same department), had a three phone, and used to happen to him all the time too.

does that happen now though? i have not personally experienced it myself.

I was with them for 2 years without any problems reception was good sometimes it would drop but would pick up again after a minute. For the minutes and prices they have i think they are very good the customer service is in India but i didnt really have to call them that much.
So thumbs up from me.

Three does actually suck. o2 have been the best for me, you can always work out a pretty decent deal if you ring them up and mention another company like vodafone and say they've offered you this and this etc.
banned#15
This is a very good deal - you can also get the LG veiwty for the same price
#16
just so you lot know.. the 3 network is network sharing with Tmo for 3g and Orange for 2g at the moment. 3 already has the biggest 3G network in the UK and partnering with Tmo means the gaps in the 3 network where Tmo have 3G coverage will mean 3 subs have coverage. Visa versa for Tmo subs being able to use the 3 network (although subscribers won't know).

Anyone who wants my number for the 30quid refer a friend just pm me. I've been with 3 for about 6 month now and can't fault them one bit.

heated added amazin deal got quidco, raf and voucher lol very happy :) just this min cancelled previous contract which had no probs with to swap to this beats all offers they gave me over phone :)
#19
Does quidco track at £80 as it says this is for the £35.00 tariff but obviously this is now £25.00? Anyone bought it and had it track?
#20
the quidco is for the £35 Texter which this is even though this is discounted £25
#21
excellent deal voted HOT!.but can someone tell me more about raf and how to use it?.Thnaks
#22
I voted hot on this. Like Sagor, I never had any trouble with Three. Their network coverage has gotten much better lately. Their Customer Service is all out-sourced to other countries, which can lead to some communication problems but the staff are generally very helpful and genuinely want to help.

There's quite a wide range of phone available... Sony Ericsson C902 (added this to the title), Nokia N95, Nokia 6220, Nokia 6500 Slide, SE W890i, LG Viewty, SE W910i, etc. :)

can someone please help me with this? I am ultra confused.

I want to order this but I don't understand all these vouchers and raf and references etc. I have logged into the three site via quidco.. how do I get the n95 for 17.78 a month?

many thanks in advance
#26
this is a great deal.i work for 3 and this beats all other offers!!!!
#27
I've been with 3 for ages now and NEVER EVER had any problems. Used to travel across the country and all other phones (various company phones at various times) including Vodaphone and T-Mobile would loose connections in city centres and trains while I could always get calls on my personal 3 phone and never had any connectivity issues.
#28
If anyone wants to use RAF, you can PM me as well

for all you people on a 3 contract i have just renewed my contract today, i was on 18 month 500mins/£15 per month deal. i had to hold out and hand in my 30 days notice and wait for retensions to ring (rang me 3 times in all) but it was worth it, i now getting as from monday next week new nokia 6220 phone which sells on fleabay for about £120 - £150 plus 750mins, 150 texts, £5 of downloads (whatever they are) and 50 video mins on 12 month contract and of course the best bit are you ready for this £10/month yes £10 so if i sold phone on fleabay id be in profit and have free 12 month contract, if any body is in same position instead of getting **** phone ask for this as it is free this weekend on all tariffs (you have to point this out to them)
