The all new Nokia N95 does it all. It is a dual slide functional phone with a 5 megapixel camera with the famous Carl Zeiss optics. The slide and play feature on this gives you both a high powered multimedia computer and a multimedia player. The screen size is 2.6 inches and is very crisp and clear, ideal for playing DVD like video. You can connect to the internet wirelessly and use the integrated GPS mapping function with 100 countries and around about 15 million locations and if that's not enough - the N95 downloads 10 times faster than with 3G, which is due to WLAN or HSDPA 3.5G.

Been using one! Brilliant!

Superfast unlike it's predecessors.

One problem still - its a little bulky :(

However the best phone I have used ever!

The N93 is VERY bulky... but I wouldn't complain if I had one... :-D

i've been doing a fair bit of research on this myself as i'm due for an upgrade at the end of may and this is definitely the phone i'm getting.

Shopping around, the general cost for this on a £30-£35 12 month tariff is between £200 and £300.
18 month contracts will obviously bring the cost of the phone down (considerably in some cases).

check out onestopphoneshop they have it for £49 if you sign up to £45 contract with 900 mins and 450 texts, or on 02 £79 for phone and only £40 per month. I'm sure quidco give cashback for new contracts also through this website

Really impressive piece of kit, although I wonder if there's much point having 5 mpixels with cameraphone optics (in fact I wonder even if 2mpixels is overkill).

Integrating mapping with online updates and GPS is a great idea. I was recently in NY with a MDA Vario II, using Microsoft's beta PPC Livesearch. It has all the usual maps/satellites/directionslive traffic reports etc, but with a really nice key thing: you can do searches for the nearest *anything*, whether rail station, car hire, hairdresser, restauraunt etc (and all nicely subcategorised, so you can get the nearest thai takeaway if you want). The list then pops up, you can select which one you like, get directions, or call them with one button. All very cleverly done.

One area where the N95 falls down is in screen size. The Iphone will have 3.5", which is 80% more screen area than the N95's 2.6" (higher resolution also). For web pages and watching videos that's a big difference.

I've been waiting for this phone for 5 months since it was announced and delayed and then delayed again.

Launches April 2nd.

Going to wait to see, how much it will be at an upgrade price.

Two more things you may wish to consider.

1) Data Charges - If you wish to use 3G or more so HSDPA, which is one of the highlights of this phone, make sure you are covered by a Data Package, otherwise you will be stung with a massive Data bill onto of your Voice & Text bundle.

2) GPS Maps - You have to pay for this, it has a built in TomTom like package but it is by subscription. So to use the voice commanded directional software that comes with the phone along with its built in GPS, there is a monthly or annual subscription.

The thing you really need to know is, this phone is the Nuts.... It is massively better than the (Not even here for a year) iPhone, which doesn't even have 3g never mind HSDPA. Plus you would be able to get a 12 month subscription and not tied to Apples own, very expensive .. 2 Year Only Subscription. SO if you did get an iPhone, you would be using a device without even 3G and a rubbish camera still in the Year 2010.. Think there might be better phones by then.
