Am I the only one not able to find this deal at all?

Nice deal if its true but I cant see it on the site. Suspect at this price it wont have any web access. But if you don't need it then well worth it for what you are getting. But remember that to get the most out of the phone you really should have internet on the phone.
#8
this phone is great but pointless if you don't get unlimited internet.....
does this price include an internet bundle????
#9
We are still missing info from this deal, i guess its only instore, what network, and does it got internet as others said pointless without, with this being nationwide im assuming all stores will offer this package
#10

As for the comments about the bad press around the phone. The usual gaff of the "press" comparing it to an iphone, the height of bad reviewing in my opinion, it is comparing a workmans van to a sports car both do similar things but are not the same, this is a workhorse phone for getting the job done, the iphone is a look at me I blend in with everyone else because we all have exactly the same phone, that is locked down and unless the things are approved by apple I cant have them. Which a symbian or android type phone isn't. It is a symbian phone so all the more unlocked, just like the android platform so that you can do so much more on it.

There are loads more free things available online for the operating system in terms of applications. Personally I would rather loose out on the looks department and gain on the functionality without spending forever on an app store paying through the nose for free functionality on most other handsets.

If you enjoy tinkering this is the kind of phone for you. If not the ipod is readily available at the O2 stores.

i dunno, think i saw a white n97 deal @ 25pm 18months with 600mins and 3000texts and free n97 on here yesterday
#19
To the Nay sayers, V12 of the software on the phone (which you can update over the air, you dont have to connect to a PC) is a great update and fixes a few issues, V11 which has already come out since the phone was reviewed is better anyway.

The only issue you should be aware of is the camera slider, too much pressure and you could scratch the lens, Nokia dont have a fix for this yet.

When I connect to software updater it says v11 is the latest available - is this due to being on vodafone?

Got to admit I love the phones, like someone said earlier, symbian allows the user to do a lot more unlike Apples lockdown iphone and itunes.

More and more apps are going to be realised on the Nokia store in the future also.....

BUT saying this, I have to return my phone due to very poor reception during loudspeaker conversations. As I use it in the car this is a must. Apparantly my voice just cuts out when using loadspeaker. Vodafone have are replacing it tomorrow.
