Long Description
Full Touch Screen

The Nokia N97 features an impressive 3.5 inch TFT touchscreen capable of displaying up to 16M colours. The N97 also supports auto screen rotation thanks to a built in accelerometer, handwriting recognition and a proximity sensor which automatically puts the screen on standby when you are on a call.
QWERTY Keyboard

Don't want to give up on buttons completely? Then you'll be pleased to hear that the Nokia N97 slides out to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, perfect for messaging, emailing and browsing the web!
Web Browser

With a built in Web Browser you can access internet sites directly from your mobile phone. Check the latest scores, look up train times and check for delays, get a weather report, or find the answer to the question in the pub quiz. With the inbuilt web browser you have the power of the internet with you, wherever you are.

HSDPA on the N97 means that you can enjoy speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, similar to your home broadband. This means that web browsing and downloads are handled at lightening quick speeds. HSDPA is commonly known as Mobile Broadband.

With Wi-Fi you can use your phone to connect to a local wireless network (W-LAN) to connect to the internet. This offers a cheap (sometimes free) method of connecting to the net to download emails, files, or check on your favourite website.
5.0 Megapixel Camera

With a built in 5.0 megapixel camera, auto focus and a Carl Zeiss lens, the Nokia N97 takes quality pictures that you will want to share with your friends. Store them in your phone, email them to friends or upload them to your blog. Other premium features include a powerful flash and video recording at 30 frames per second.
On board Memory

The Vodafone N97 features a truly staggering 32GB of memory built-in, twice the capacity of its predecessor the N96, making it the ultimate phone for storing music and movies.
Expandable Memory

As if that wasn't enough, the phone also supports expandable memory up to 16GB taking the total to a potential 48GB! The N97 uses MicroSD cards (Transflash) just like previous Nokia mobile phones.

With GPS you can use the phone to locate your position, plan your journey, check for problems, and as a general Sat Nav device, when used in conjunction with compatible mapping software.

A-GPS is a network service that can locate your position to within 100 metres by using a clever technique called triangulation. By sending a signal to three cell masts, A-GPS will work out your location by the location of the cells and your distance from them. When combined with a GPS enabled phone, the addition of A-GPS enables a faster GPS satellite lock.
Email Client

The N97 on Vodafone has an email client, which will allow you to receive email from your own personal email account, and send pictures, videos or text emails to any email account anywhere in the world. Email access on the phone is simple to set up and a cost effective way of keeping in touch.
TV Out

TV Out option allows you to connect your phone to a TV and view videos/photos recorded/stored on your phone directly on the screen of your TV. Showing your holiday snaps was never easier, or cooler, than this.
3.5mm Audio Jack

With a 3.5mm audio jack, you can listen to your music with the comfort of your favourite headphones.
Music Player

With a built in music player, you can carry your tunes with you, in your pocket, and listen to them when you want. Most digital formats are recognised on the phone, including MP3 and AAC.
Bluetooth 2.0

Bluetooth 2.0 is the next generation of Bluetooth connectivity. With Bluetooth 2.0 one of the biggest advantages is the possibility of listening to music with a compatible stereo wireless headset. Less wires, less mess, more noise.
Stereo FM Radio

With a Stereo FM Radio built in to the Vodafone N97, you will always have access to the latest tunes on your phone. Tune in to your favourite station, whenever you want, straight from your phone.

 your title says 14 months half price and the description suggests 24 X 17.5 = 420.
1/2 Price Line Rental is by Redemption only and its a Refurbished Phone. Not Voted either way.
since when 24 months contracts are hot????????

just stop posting such "deals"

very cold from me....

very cold from me....

Just because its a 24 month contract doesnt make it bad. A 24 month contract would not bother me if it was a great deal.
yes the effective cost is 24 x 17.7 please do maths i.e average cost per month after cash back
 your title says 14 months half price and the description suggests 24 X 17.5 = 420.

yes the effective cost is 17.7 x 24 =425 please do maths
personally i think its a very good contract consider 600min n unlimited txt for 17.7 effective after cash back plus not very old hand .. n97 still have market price over £300 and great functionality ,,, it a good contract even tho its 24 months
Just read the reviews of the N97 before you consider any deal with this phone, I had 3 before giving up with them as they are so bug ridden (even with the latest firmware) not voted either way
yes the effective cost is 24 x 17.7 please do maths i.e average cost per month after cash back

i have done the maths but your information isnt clear and isnt easily deciphered from your info it seems that half of 25 is 17.70:whistling: now maybe youve done all the sums for us simple people and we cant handle your advanced degree in calculus

why instead of reaffirming your conclusion help the guy out(saying you took the trouble to reply to him) and tell him how you came to this by telling him that you have added up the cost of 14 months half price (175)to the remaining 10 full price(250) then divided up that figure by the term of the contract

also you mention nothing of the cashback process in your post except for the title i guess its by redemption so you will have to pay 25 for the first 14 months and jump through the hoops to receive it back
lame deal
OP - don't let the whingers put you off! This is a very decent deal on a relatively expensive high spec phone. H added!
24 months AND not main reputable dealer. NO THANKS...
