Following the last N97 deals (and yes I am sure there will be loads more).
This seems an even better deal from a dealer I have heard of!

Deal is:
18 Month Contract on Dolphin 45 but with a £10 auto credit applied to your bill every month so is £35.

One off phone cost is £80 but you can get £30 quidco, meaning only £50.

Even ignoring quidco £35 Pm with initial cost means it is equiv of £39.44.
Then if you factor qudico is equiv to £37.77 pm.

Gives alot more minutes and free voicemail unlike T-Mobile deal posted a couple of days ago.

+ Free Home Starter Orange ADSL package 8mb (10gb usage) inc wireless router. (worth £9.79pm)

+ Orange Wednesdays

Tariff details from Orange website:
unlimited texts
1200 anytime minutes
inclusive sat nav with Orange Maps
500MB anytime mobile internet browsing
and itemised billing, Answer Phone and dedicated Customer Service

Voted hot, looks to be a good deal to me!

The only thing I don't like about the deal is the 500mb internet usage. It is a bit limiting really considering I can easily use 600 or so MB a month. Especially annoying when most other providers are offering 1Gb of unlimited usage and T-mobile offer 1gb unlimited with no over use charges so long as your not ALWAYS going over each month.

Doesn't take much youtubing to work through 500MBs.

Some months visiting sites without extra content such as videos, music or flash games etc you will easily come in miles under but as a youtube video of about 10minutes can come in at 60-70mb it quickly adds up and you could use up your 500mb in a little over an hour.

yeh i thought so. i very much doubt i'l use much youtube on the go. just added it to my package so i could use news/email/facebook/hotukdeals! thats about it =)

I would reckon that 99% of people who use mobile data for web and email don't use more than 100mb or even 150mb on a busy month.

How is it t-mobile deal for N97 costs more pm,charges for voicemail, doesn't give free home broadband and has got so hot just for the fact they give 1gb vs 500mb for mobile data?!

This is a funny place indeed!

It is amazing how quickly those pages rack up. Ebay (the propper site not the rubbish mobile one) is 3 megabytes just to get logged on and to view your my ebay page from start to finish. If you use ebay a lot on a daily basis that will soon add up. Once a day every day for a month is already 90mb.

Checking the facebook home page for updates is another 1.5mb a time (depending what content is displayed and without the log in screens. so there is another 45mb a month just to check it once a day every day. It soon adds up when you think about it and even saying you wouldn't check these sorts of things on a daily basis, it is surprising how often you do need to log on as normal in just one day.

And considering Orange when I first joined them with a smart phone offered their unlimited mobile web capping out at 30megabytes a month and this was only 12months ago so they always seem to be behind on these things.

How is it t-mobile deal for N97 costs more pm,charges for voicemail, doesn't give free home broadband and has got so hot just for the fact they give 1gb vs 500mb for mobile data?!

Being serious now? How often do you actually use your voicemail? I have used mine about 5-6 times in the last 2-3 years. Free home broadband, if you dont have broadband already it is just another tie in service. Who would willingly swap providers and be without broadband for 2 -3 weeks while it happens?

I do all email, BBC news every day, HUKD mobile, an other bits and pieces. My data counters are showing 11.71MB sent, 13.82MB received since the start of the month.

Using BBC iPlayer Mobile, one 60 minute BBC programme is 100MB, I know this because I download them. (so if YouTube is doing 60-70MB in 10 minutes then it's pretty inefficient considering how poor some of the content is)

But BBC iPlayer doesn't allow download over 3G network, which is a crucial point because mobile internet usage for most people will be like mine. At home at work and at friends and plus many places I have access to WiFi. Very occasionally will I have to go onto the 3.5G network, it's handy to have but it's a backup really. So, for me 500MB might well be plenty.

Although I have T-Mobile internet available, I never get anywhere near the fair use cap, because of WiFi.

My phone costs are under £10 per month as a result, but that's a whole other story (on T-Mobile thedonut).

I never use voicemail. It's switched off. I don't use my Mobile for long conversations, just to arrange to meet up in person. Most service calls are in work time so I use work phone.

So consequently price per minute is almost irrelevant and voice mail is totally irrelevant. There is o other deal better for me than T-Mobile. I have been trying to find a better deal for ages.

Androoski it would seem I am in the same boat as you with all the add ons being junk to me, all I want is a small number of calls, plenty of texts and unlimited internet. All because of having had a lovely arguement with 3mobile last month and cancelling my contract, so I am having to look for a new phone now. I was hoping to have to do this all in December after all the new phones had been announced. So still looking for the best deal on the N97 as I have set my sights on it, personally I would rather find a flext package on Tmobile but they don't seem to do one sadly.

Just give it time till the phone is nearer release and then see what happens I guess. I do hope that the Flext package will be made available with this phone as I would like to try picture messaging and all that lark.

You'll be suprised, i've had my htc magic two weeks on tuesday and already i've used 350mb, admittedly 280 of that has been over wifi, but thats because i can jump onto my connection at home and the office connection when i'm at work, i havent downloaded any thing and only watched a handfull of youtube clips, so anyone who doesnt have access to wifi at work they could easily go over if they are not carefull.

then silly busy bodies, I have a N95... log onto facebook 5 to 6 times a day, have slick software that logs me on msn and yahoo automatic and i have never used more than 120mb in a month.

what person would get a phone and download continuous yotube without wifi anyway, Clearly they should have their heads tested...lol....

I am very choosey with packages and vote this hot, though must admit I got retentions to offer me the same deal with unlimited web content for £25.00 guess you get more if you ring them and speak to the right people.

Just make honest hot/cold judgements on the deal at hand.....
