I phoned to cancel my line rental for my mix and match 300 which I got 18 months ago. they offered me everything the same and just get a brand new N97.. I couldnt resist and accepted it..
They also said get mix and match 500 for £25 p/m with 90 video minutes..

was the upgrade worth it for 18 months..

Anyone else looking for an upgrade, you could get the same deal.

£22.00 pm??? Are you sure about that Laldude?? That is an Awsome deal. they robbed me, I wouldve gone for that if I hadnt got Nokia N95 8GB for £25.00 pm on that same deal. Cheapest I could find was £35.00 with virgin media.....

when i phoned to cancel my last O2 deal they offered me a £30 per month deal for a fiver - no cashback nonsense etc, so the deals are out there for cancelling folk.

Especially on 3 mobile. Just ask for your PAC number, be stubborn and the rewards will come

I just got the Nokia 6700 for £10 a month (300 mins, 1000 txt) on a 12 month contract. Upgraded online and used accessory voucher too! Phone is going for £180 on ebay :thumbsup:

Although you cant really include upgrades as deals on here.

They wont honour it.I was also offered a similiar deal (with N97) to get me to sign up for another 18 months.Phone arrived and i rang back to check deal before using phone, they denied all knowledge of discount. and took great delight in telling me if i had put sim in phone i was stuck with it.I took great delight in telling them the box was still sealed and where to shove their phone and contract.

That scared me. Even though Ive started using my phone, I decided to call and make sure.. My deal is genuine and I thought it was 50 video minutes, its actually 90.. Theres a surprise.. :):-D:thumbsup:

Awesome dude. I was going to warn you as well that 3 are known for their underhand tactics for getting you to sign up. i've been with them for over 4 years now so I should know :whistling:

They do have some great deals tho if you are patient and manage to wear them down.

Brilliant deal, but sadly 3 Customer service have kindly informed me they will never accept me back again. Good thing really as I will never go back to them.

When they changed the terms of the contract, I decided to try the cancelling with the hope to get at least £5 off a month. However, after the customer service advisor's had spent a full hour passing me around customer service and spending a full 40minutes on hold in that time. They eventually put me through to the right place and I got to endure the most rude person you have ever encountered. Who spent the entire time claiming that the changes to the TOS would not effect me based on her amazing knowledge of my lifestyle.

Safe to say that was the icing on the cake and at that point nothing they would of offered me would of kept me with them. Just remember to bear in mind that the customer service with 3 from all my experiences on the phone with them have been awful.

But if you can get this deal snap it up. It is a bargain.

They were second to Setanta in the customer service stakes. Now they have to take the title in worst customer service. But for the 1 or 2 times you have to ring them each year I can live with that for how cheap their contracts are.
