Perhaps a reasonable alternative to the cheap O2 contracts for those still needing a handset following the DAP debacle last week, and wanting inclusive internet as well (which can make the O2 deals more expensive).

There have been similar deals posted from buymobilesphones.net, but as far as I know none for this handset that so many were seeking via the DAP 'deal' last week. As far as I can see, this is one of, if not the, cheapest contact offer for one of these. If you don't mind two year contracts, £15 a month seems unbeatable at the moment.

Nokia X6 Black
16Gb Internal Memory 3.2inch Touchscreen 5MP Carl Zeiss Camera LED Flash GPS WiFi Bluetooth Comprehensive Media Player
£ 19.99

T-Mobile £15 inc. Internet
300 cross-network mins + 300 texts + Unlimited data 24 months
£ 15.00 a month

Yes, as we're all paying the total cost, and not a 1 month, it's great to know the actual 'purchase' price of a deal in its entirety.

Thank you.

Is 24 x 15 + 19.99 really that difficult? :whistling:

... but it is a pretty good deal.

You can also consider the £10 tariff (100 minutes / 100 texts + 1 "booster" - which can be unlimited internet). You can then pay £5 p/m extra (£120 over the total contract length ;o) ) for an extra booster, such as unlimited texts, or unlimited landline calls etc.

No, but a total price of the product makes it easier to reach a conclusion on whether something is a deal. Some people like myself are mentally handicapped, and having easy figures is a real help too.

Thinking of switching from voda - how does Tmobile customer care compare?

Thanks ;)

Good deal although shame about 24 month contract.

As posted on the dial-a-phone thread, this is exactly what I went for, so I think its a pretty good deal! If you need more usage, then some of the line-rental discount deals look ok too.. like T-mobile £30/month contracts have 10months free on 24 month contract or 8 months free on 18 month contract.

(I know I am repeating myself, but maybe more people will see on a new thread.)

Please don't switch from voda cus t-mobile reception is totally crap! Okay might depend on where you are in the country but generally vodaz the one!

Actually, if they've merged with Orange for definite then maybe reception might be good.

Apologies for not spotting your post on the other thread. Tbh, I stopped reading it after a few days as it was depressing to miss out on it. We ordered this on Friday but it didn't arrive Saturday despite claims on the website that it would. Spent the weekend thinking we were doomed never to see an X6! Good news is it will be arriving tomorrow :)

No need to apologise!! It makes sense to put it as a seperate thread.
I just thought it was worth mentioning the redemption deals too... if the cashback comes through then the 18month £30 contract would actually work out cheaper overall. So for some people it could be better. But I preferred to stick with the £15 contract - covers my usage and is less hassle.

It was the dial-a-phone thread that got me looking at the X6 too. But it was gone from the website before I got chance to order - I was a bit miffed, but now think I was lucky there.

Yes, your link is fine - it's the £10 a month deal I can't find :)

Blimey... I'm so used to seeing phone deals put up at their per month price I nearly fell down a twenty foot hole when I read tis one...

Yes it's refreshing and yes it's the true cost, but...

Couldn't something be done by the site builders to display per month + handset = total?!?

Just a thought from someone with a trigger happy mouse finger and too much ale in his belly to add up!

I know its on T-mobile site, the X6 is £128 on the £10 plan. But I think some people were getting handsets reduced over the phone. Have a look at the thread on the HTC hero on this plan:-
http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/608850/htc-hero-on-t-mobile-g2-touch-10pm-?

The hero and samsung galaxy come with unlimited internet through T-mobile direct, so on these you can use the flexible booster for unlimited texts, or something else. This doesnt seem to be the case with the X6

I still havent received the X6 from buymobilephones though - got an email about delay being due to high demand.

They aren't sharing antennas yet so still no good at my house. Really annoying as T-Mob CS is good and they are always on decent deals.

This one gives you a contract with half decent mins, texts and internet as well as a decent handset for £15 a month, can't see anything similar on the other networks.

Personally though I have just started my second year of 12 month £20 sim only deals with £100 cashback moving to Voda from O2. You get a top contract for just over £10 a month and you have to pay for your phone which makes you think about the real cost rather than hiding it in long and expensive contracts.

Have to agree that Voda have the best coverage, followed by O2 in my opinion, then orange and t mobile at the bottom with 3.

I have just joined t-mobile from o2 as their upgrades were rubbish and they couldnt be bothered to help me, i am in London and no problems with reception. I was going to go for this phone, but opted for the N900, which i have now had for 4 days. Glad i made the choice, the N900 is a much better phone, really love it. Go to Nokiaretail.co.uk and look at the t-mobile tariffs on there, much better deals, i got the N900 for £28.99 on a 18 month contract with 300 mins 300 txt and unlimited web. I printed this off and took it to the Carphone Warehouse and they cant match this deal. Not a bad price considering the phone is nearly £500 to buy.

I just called O2 retentions and got offered the X6 for £15 per month, 300 mins and unlimited texts. I decided not to get one.

Could someone please advise me if this is a good deal:

16GB iPhone
24 month contract
500 mins
Unlimited texts
Unlimited internet
Unlimited wifi
£24 per month on O2

About right for a refurbished 3G (not Gs) if you've only been with them for a little over a year. Would be OK/good for a Gs.

I have an X6 and the Satio has the same size screen and is not a good phone IMO
The N900 has a slightly bigger screen, but works on a completely different OS in it's first outing, so very prone to bugs at this stage.
