dont forget £50 quidco and £5 per month off your braodband... i went for the £10 per month option and paid £50 for the phone.
#2
for £10 per month you get 50 minutes

Any one know whether we can cancel or upgrade existing O2 contract (when only few months left in sim only contract)

Also Is this Phone good ?
Some people say X6 isn't great phone and the screen is small

You have to be in the last month of your contact then you can upgrade.
If you cancel you pay the remainder of the contract term.
You can try your luck though as you're signing up for 2 years :/

The advert on Ebay also states unlimited web for the same price, but I cant get it to do it through the site. I might try getting hold of online sales or something, see if this is true or a false advert.

If it is, it would be good and might make up for the DialAPhone fiasco.

No unlimited web. Not for that price.
You can pick a free bolton for 30 mins+ contracts but they start at £25.
I can't see the Ebay ad (from work) so perhaps the wording is more.... subtle.

i saw that on ebay and went to order it with free web then found it wasn't there bit of misleading info i think, but if anyone can get that then i would be interested
#7
There's no get out clause etc hidden in the ad, I have got it offline and checked through it frame by frame even though its slow enough to read online, thought I'd just make sure. It is just a misleading ad.

It might be doable with some persausion on the phone, but that just makes life a bit more hard work lol :-D.

If they ever sort it out and offer it then I'll take it I think. Got 5 months left on my £35p/m with O2 (24 Month) but just fancy a new phone, but would give someone else the sim.

Want to get me and the mrs a new phone and unltd web would be a bonus for me

Just for info, you can get a Palm Pre on a £20 tariff on an 18 month contract. I got it yesterday from a store, but added the £5 web bolt on.
#10
Was that the Pre or Pre Plus?

And their site has the same deal but on 24 months?

The screen is 3.2" ... that's bigger than most!

I was given this phone at work. I like the size of it, nowhere near as big as an iphone so fits easily in the pocket.

Best bit was the 1 yr unlimited 'Comes With Music' downloads. I have over 12000 tracks already. (although there is no mention of this in the ad)
#14
I was going to get this phone from the dialaphone super deal, which turned to be too good to be true. Still a good deal so heat added.

For me now though I think 2 years is a long time for this type of phone, I'll think you'll get fed up with it after a year and want to change it.

100 mins thats peanuts in todays market,

About the phone - got this as an upgrade from three (same cost £15 for 500 mix & match and 1GB internet ). I actually called up three to get my PAC code so that I can go for the iPhone but when they offered me at that price it was a no brainer for me.

The phone is great so far. It IS and looks much more smaller than the iphone - especially the screen size. This might not go down well with some but for me its great that I can slip in to a pocket. Not as intuitive or fast as an iphone (I have played around with my brothers iphone but not used it extensively) but for music, videos, facebook, twitter and bit if web browsing it looks great. The touch screen is quite good once you get used to it.

slow and annoying phone, will drop hugely in price very quickly - and already has!

Its great if you want to keep it long term and if you're gonna download tons of music.

otherwise consider the n900 or motorola milestone. i have the milestone now and LOVE IT. much better than the X6.

I found this deal a few days ago but I am not interested in signing a new contract.

Actually, your finding is not so hot. Another plan may be more attractive.

18 months contract, 50 minute, unlimited text, 15 pounds / month. it means you pay 270 pounds in total. The phone costs 50 pounds on this plan. So, the total payment is 320 pounds for 18 months duration. Your choice costs 360 pounds.

Don't forget 50 pounds quidco.
#21
Hot deal. I got the £10 a month deal. I have wanted one ever since the Dialaphone fiasco. As I am actually paying money this time around I have got my hopes up.

Quidco better track an all

also on 18mth contracts

Not all Nokia X6 come with 'Comes with Music'. I think it's just 32GB 'Comes with Music Edition'.

I requested my PAC code from 3 a few weeks ago. I would have had this deal if I had been offered it, but their so called "special deal to you as a valued customer" was basically junk. Best I could get out of them was a refurbed Hero with 600 mix/match and unltd web for £23 a month.

I did the same! My contract with 3 finished in December last year but when I called for renewal they gave me a crappy deal (same as what they were giving new customers). So I asked for the PAC code and started looking for proper deals. Was going to get simplicity from O2 but couldn't find a proper phone. Last week I decided I wanted an iphone so I called three and told them send new PAC as I wanted to go to O2 for an iphone. I think they are scared of losing business to the others because of the iphone factor. Also, it depends on who you talk to - some reps are willing to give good deals whilst others are tight fisted and don't care about loyalty. Try again - might work this time!

True - mine is the 16GB version and came with a £25 voucher only

May have gone up or something but title is now wrong.

Phone costs £50 on the £15 pm 50 mins unlimited texts.
The £20 pm phone is free with 100 mins and unlimited texts
#28
My quidco hasn't tracked! Unbelievable. I cleared cookies etc. Should it have tracked by now? I ordered it 24 hours ago. Or do they wait until o2 have took my first month payment?

I got fed up with 3, so pre-ordered the HTC Desire deal which has been posted on here.

My bad, when I checked I didn't notice it was set to an 18 month contract as you say selecting 24 month reduces that price and is correct :)

Went for the £10 per month over 24 months. My £50 has tracked on Quidco so all looks good. Phone due to arrive tomorrow.
