was the Nordmende not £249 last time round or is this a newer model?
what makes this model better than this one

in the absence of a radically better spec then, what makes this Nordmende at £299 a better buy than the one thats appeared here over the last few months that me and kanester have linked to....more's to the point why has this post received "hot" votes, while the deal is obviously (at the moment) very cold?

4.5 quidco = 13.50

300 - 20% = 240 - 13.50 = 226.50, seems like a great deal to me, as long as theres something you want with the 60 quid credit

4.5 quidco = 11.20

249 - 20% = 200 - 11.20 = 188.80 seems like a better deal to me, as long as there's something you want with the 50 quid credit

so what makes the OP a hot deal, when there's a better one?:?

Better contrast ratio on the £300 set is the difference (10000:1 compared with 7000:1 on the £250 set)

can of worms here...contrast ratios differ from model to model and even within same manufacturers ranges....and a uniform standard has yet to be agreed....so is it worth £50 more?

why not go for a new Samsung then with a ratio of 500,000:1...in which case...those figures make the Nordmende ****...as I say, does the contrast ratio alone warrant a price difference of £50...I don't think so, at the end of the day we are looking at (no pun intended) 2 low end market lcd tvs...so save your money....
