3kg? Really? Why anyone would need strong bag for only 7 kilos of belongings inside? That's heaviest bag I seen for long time.

Well constructed bag, solid wheels. Mine's lasted for years.

Depends what that 7 kilos is made up of really, doesn't it?

Lots of people have to very frequently lug laptops, cameras or video equipment about with them for their work. Something that stands up to this day in, day out will have to be hard wearing and likely weigh a bit more.

Just because it meets hand baggage requirements doesn't mean that it can only be used for that. If you're going on an expedition, you might want to use this as your hand baggage and then transfer your heavy gear into it afterwards.

Nice big logo on the side of it as well. I'd hate to spend £95 on a case and for people not to know about it.

This case is the best. I use it for carrying human organs, and my pants. I always travel with a large collection of pants when I'm not carrying organs.

They probably don't need this bag. However it's a great bag for heavier weights, i fly with EJ and BA and often have 20kg+ in my cabin baggage, which
a. tends to lead to the demise of less sturdy bags
b. the initial weight of the bag is less important.

More to the point, this is a good deal if you're after this bag, whatever your reasons may be.
