I see the cold is affecting people again!

Not for me but I can't dispute that it's great value - cheapest I've seen this is £30 in the shops.

I think people are voting on 'Norton' rather than the deal again...

I already have NIS 2011 and its a brilliant product this year. Norton 360 has additional facilitie to tune your PC. This is an absolute steal for £11.99 for 3 PCs, laptops or netbooks. I have downloaded and installed it on all 3 without any problems.

ARGH. The first time I followed the link I did indeed get to the page/offer you were talking about, but when I came back to decide to buy the link had become a Norton Update checker and then when trying to buy it's full price deal not the reduced one.
I suspect UKHD has added in their referral stuff and that has wrecked the orginal link.
PLEASE can you provide the original link afresh in a posting ?
Thanks in anticipation.

Does anyone know when this offer will expire? i still have 80 days on my antivirus left
#8
Thanks Darrengee - though I cut your link off at the "?" - busy downloading right now - BARGAIN!
(Do watch out for the "auto-renewal" that it includes! Need to turn it off in your mynortonaccount.)

Still got 75 days of Norton AntiVirus (that I won in 2009) left here though just a 1 PC licence.
Downloading and installing 1 of the 3 licences to Norton 360 led to (a) removing existing Norton product (b) reboot (c) installation continuing automatically and now Norton 360 with 366 days remaining - ie lost the 75 NAV days.
Somehow I doubt you'll find the dual discounts of £ off and then a full £30 off code active for much longer so maybe best to leap while so cheap and just write off the old NAV ?

Microsoft security essentials is free.

I bought this as well for £11.99. One thing you should do is go into the account settings and remove the automatic renewal otherwise you will be charged the full price this time next year. Its simply a matter of removing the tick from the check box under Automatic Renewal.

Just purchased Norton 360 £11.99.. Thanks. My anti virus has just run out and I've been looking around for a few days for a good deal. I nearly bought this the otherday on eBay for £35 but changed my mind at the last mo... As said above 'turn auto renew off'. Great deal..heat added..

could it be possible to buy this now and install it in 80 days? therefore getting both the 80 days and 365 days?

If you don't want to install norton 360 straight away make sure you don't click the Download and Install button when buying the software. You have 60 days to download it again from your norton account at http://www.mynortonaccount.com.

Brill deal I thought I had a bargain when wh smith had 30% off got for £17!

For some reason I can't manage to get it for this price. Do you need to have Norton already installed on your PC?
#18
I've just bought this item, you have 60 days to install it within, so if you still have some NAV days remaining on your older product you can use that for another 60days before having to install this

Good tip re having 60-days to download! That is clearly spelt out on the mynortonaccount site page (though doesn't appear during the initial push the download down to you automated routine that I noticed).

It LOOKS as if the licence expiry date (ie for all 3 PCs) is set 366 days from your FIRST activation - so if hanging on (upto 60 days from 3 licence purchase) to install on a PC with some earlier licence still unexpired, you'll similarly need to hold fire for the other 2 download/activations you're entitled to as well.

Use the voucher code in the description to bring it down to £11.99.

Heat added btw. Cracking deal. :)

Heat added - cracking deal, downloaded and installed, problem accessing account to cancel auto renew, minor quibble - I think it may have been confused by old account!

Norton Internet Security has been most magazines top Security Suite for the last two years (2009 and 2010) because of it's now light on your computer (compared to the past) and has the best malware detection rate.
#28
does this protect my xbox 360 for viruses as well as my PC?

ask anybody who knows a decent amount about computers - Norton is the WORST product out there!

Im getting

"Please enter a valid Coupon Code"

when i put the code in and apply
#31
Microsoft Security Essentials is a better antivirus and it's free! It doesn't matter how cheap norton is it still isn't worth putting on a system.

Someone please inform this poster it isnt 2008 anymore, as he clearly hasnt read reviews or experienced first hand (dare I say it) Norton Light as it now effectively is, resource and install wise....

Good deal (if it works) but Norton is pathetic!

Also, Microsoft Security Essentials snoops about on your pc and takes notes of serial numbers and stuff, so if anyone has an, erm, not 100% kosher Office package on their pc.....

perhaps symantec's new philosophy is not to reduce risk by making a computer as unusable for a hacker as to the owner/user. norton is however the second most widely adopted cost-purchase solution, do the math...

If you want to lose total control of your PC,this is the one for you.Pathetic is a polite word for this software.

I agree, just downloaded it free and works perfectly. I posted this yesterday and was asked if I had been in a coma for a year - probably !!

No idea how Norton runs these days, so not voting either way, their software in the past has been beyond awful though and i'd never willingly install their software based on past experience.
