Wouldn't use it if it was free!!

Not very good. Try AVG free - it's free and excellent.
#3
If you've got a Barclays Additions account, you can get full version of Kaspersky FREE to install on 3 PCs.
#4
Norton came free on my stepdad's laptop. Easily the worst pile of junk I've ever used.
#5
Absolute Mince ! Wouldn't touch Norton with a bargepole !

If you want to slow your PC RIGHT down ....buy it !
#6
why do people keep posting norton it's total garbage and thats not personal opinion it's pretty much all round concensous
#7
absolute junk - get avg, zonealarm and superantispyware all for free.
#8
Try Avast! it`s a very good programme...........Free for personal use.
#9
Why pay money when you can get all the anti virus and spyware software you need for free?
#10
avast or AVG are the best, least iritating and easiest to use. most of all, they dont slow your pc much.

norton slows your pc, annoys you all the time, costs "money", and it just complete ****
#11
Load of rubbish, bloated software which as people have said slows down your PC. In my case it caused an instant BSOD after installation and it took ages to remove and get the computer sorted out . :x

At the moment I'm using AVG free, Vista Firewall Control (yes I'm using Vista!) and Spyware Doctor which cost nothing and seem to be doing a good job...... so far!

well known and popular as they spend a lot on marketing and so people think it must be good when in fact the complete opposite is true.

Same is true for Mcafee products.

AVAST AV and COMMODO firewall for me on Vista. Dont even realise they are there.

Darn, wish I'd read this post. Just spent an hour trying to undo Comodo, it blue screened and knackered my internet connection.

As someone who is useless at all things technical it wasn't a fun start to sunday morning.
