Cold. Its gona get pretty freezing in here. I talk from experience of posting a similar deal.

Not a bad deal considering its RRP. However, Norton is one of the worst anti-virus programs on the market. The fact that Avast (a much better and simpler piece of software) can be downloaded for free means I can't give this heat. Sorry!

its a virus...install it and have fun de-installing it properly.....nb. the uninstaller DOESNT desintall everything by the way

Avast free FTW.

Same old tripe posted by, probably, the same people, who are referring back to the 2007 edition and beyond.
£7.50 per pc for a good a/v system and so much more, regular updates, doesn't system hog and yes, does uninstall correctly if, for some reason, you needed to do so.
Similar offers around recently but still good value OP, have a little heat and rep from me - try to ignore the numpties :)

If like me you don't mind paying for your anti-virus software I recommend ESET NOD32 Antivirus, It uses far less system resources than Norton and you don't even notice it's running untill it detects a problem and tells you it's just stopped a virus or something.

Had Norton before this and could not believe how many processes it had running in task manager.

Norton 2007 was bad however 2010 is actually pretty good, for a paid security Norton is good however with free alternatives and Nod32 its pretty cold, the price ain't bad but I guess the people here are either hard to please or are idiots.

Voted hot as no-one has reported finding this exact package cheaper anywhere else.

A lot of sheep voting cold due to the same old out of date speeches about Norton being resource hungry, and that stripped down free AV being better. :x

About time people tried the latest version for themselves and read the reviews/comparison tests for this year that show Norton to be be either top or in the top 3 of the best IS packages, together with Kaspersky and NOD32. :p

Strangely Avast and AVG appear at the bottom. And i'm not a Norton fanboy, but have tried 2010 and found it to be pretty impressive and so much better than the 5 year old versions that people are harping on about! :?

I use Kaspersky as it comes free with Barclays, but would have no issue using this otherwise.

wrong.
show me a bad review of this product.

Avast is just a virus scanner, not a full internet security like this is, you're not even comparing like for like.

as for the amount of RAM and CPU processes it use, mine is currently using 2 CPU processes and 8mb of RAM.
and thats Norton 360 V4, the one up from this.

people are not realising that Norton is now one of the absolute top security progs and has changed since the older ones, all the pro reviews state this.
and I never ever thought I'd be saying that after 12 years in the computer business.
a good 6 of those was refusing to sell the product too!
