Picked up the new savings booklet when i popped into Costcos at Thurrock and saw they had reduced the prices of the NIS 2011 to £20.39 incl vat which is pretty good. This covers 3 users and also has the added bonus of 5gb of online storage which i dont think is offered on purchases from other retailers (at least compared to Amazon/pcworld).

I bought this yesterday in Costco - thought it was an OK deal

I need it anyway.
Good price for the worst anti virus software lmao
Would never ever use norton again i had so much crap get past it.
Norton is pathetic, and I can't believe people still pay for anti virus software! Avast and AVG are free for the home user and regularly come out better than Norton in reviews.
any other deals worth mentioning from the booklet?
crazy paying for a product like that which will expire in a year. like poster above there are plenty of FREE products that do the same.
Worst internet security going wouldnt have it given !

Same old Norton haters, judging it on previous versions. It's excellent these days and extremely light on system resources.

There is the 10x4 pack triple velvet toilet paper - £10.79
Persil (nonbio) 144 tablets - 11.96
Ariel non bio 5liters - 7.73

not much this time, mostly cleaning products. A few electricals though - fridge/microwave/dishwasher/vitamins

Norton has massively improved in the past couple of years and is considerably smaller and takes up less resources than it used to. For those of you judging this version based on older versions ( i think 2007/2008 were the resource hungry versions) then maybe you should take another look at the latest ones. Obviously though everyone is entitled to their own opinions - in my case NIS does what i want, is easy to install and configure, doesnt cause any compatability problems with any software I use so I am happy.
