Nottingham Forest v Middlesbrough £2.00 for Students Tuesday 19th October (kick off 7.45pm)

£2.00 @ Nottingham Forest FC
Good price, to see what should be a decent game. There is a big student community in Nottingham so i'm sure this might help a few people

Good price. Not sure about your expectations of the game - unless you enjoy watching a second rate SPL side getting spanked.

Too true. :(

Heat added though.

Dunno about that, our boys aren't exactly leaving us full of confidence either :(
#6
Shame about the kids prices:(can't they enter as students?
#7
Could be Strachan's last stand. Or it could be the game Boro kick into gear...

Forest unbeaten at home for over a year, and Boro can't seem to do anything right - put your house on an away win :(

Forest fan here
Thanks for posting this op

Being a Boro season, £2 is a complete rip off to watch us this season!
#10
Forest fan here too but not a student so no use to me. Voted hot though
#11
Come on you reds!

Unhappy boro fan here, out with the ginger dwarf. On paper we should be up there, for god sake we have one of the SPL's mst prolific goal scorers and he's do jack.
#14
Nice find!
#15
There still won't be any smogs there, not even for £2. ;)
#16
I would keep the £2.
#17
Del
I would keep the £2.

me too lol
#18
lol, i've found a new love for both forest and boro fans! :)

its making me happy to see boyd the traitor with only 2 goals this season, (oh how he has fallen!) but good price. Heat added but you might want to watch the champions league instead...
#20
Save your money. Poor ground with very little atmosphere and hardly any fans, hence the cheap deals
#21
£2 for students I am sure most would want at least £10 for having to watch Boro for 90 minutes.
Still if you like that kind of torture £2 is quite fair
#22
They would have to PAY me to watch a football match for 90 minutes
#23
thanks a lot

Hardly any fans? Wasn't last year's average attendance over 23,000?
Poor ground? Good enough to stage Euro 96, probably the most picturesque setting for a ground in the UK. Uniqueness and character of the ground far surpasses any "meccano" construction seen over recent years, such as the monstrosities at leicester, derby, reading, livingston, southampton, coventry etc. etc.
Very little atmosphere? Where's better in the Championship then?

Wild horses couldn't drag me to that dump next to the Trent!

Forest 1 - 0 Boro.

Not the most shocking result of the season...

come see derby better ground bigger attendances better atmosphere less chance of being shot/mugged on the way to the ground and we have that idiot robbie savage to direct your hate towards.

Ps "The ground has character" which really means the ground is a dump :)

Great deal, why the Boro themselves do not do stuff like this is beyond me, 14,000 in ground if lucky...... kids for a fiver plus free burger when with an adult, adult and child £20, kids for £2....come on gibson you have nowt to lose and thats coming from a black and white.

You know your club is in trouble when a rival teams fan has to give good ideas on how to fill the ground.
Top idea Rbquk, unfortunately the club has a major hate relationship with the fans at the moment.

Statistically, you couldn't be further from the truth:
City Ground - 59.3 crime avg per month
Pride Park - 81.7 crime avg per month

Now now. Surprised no d*rby fan has posted the 'deals' you use to bump up your crowds - free ticket with mobile phone contract, free ticket with test drive of a car, free ticket with annual subscription to Sheep Harmer magazine....
