Only coz they pay you to watch down at deadow lane :-D
#15
You Reds
#16
They just cause huge traffic jams at trent bridge and cause riots on streets.

Football itself is a joke

I love the way people seem to think Football tickets going on general constitues a "Hot Deal". If there was a voucher code or some other way of geting a couple more quid off then by all means. But considering this is the price available to the general public it aint so much of a "Deal" imo. Still good for the fans though so don't get me wrong.

Not been to a football game for over 20 years, but wanted to take my family, just to do something different. My question is.... are matches reasonably safe these days, or is there still a lot of violence about... my last experience wasnt too good, but that was a long time ago. Any ideas?

You'll be absolutely fine. As long as you're not looking for trouble, trouble won't find you.
There are one or two bell ends kicking about, certainly not enough to put you off going.

comeeeeeeeeeee on you reddddddddddddddsssssssssssssssssssss
the deal is get ya money on forest to win 3.1

yes you and the family will be fine.
#22
Agreed. There is still some trouble, but it's usually well away from the ground, and conducted pretty much only between people who seem to enjoy it.

You can't beat a live football game - I'd recommend you re-visit and find out what you've been missing

Wondered how long it would be before you stuck your nose in!

Just to point out to people I did vote hot as £12 is a good deal, I may even go and support Blackburn! On second thoughts, Sam, maybe not!

Thought Sam did a good job at Notts?

Not really a deal as the CC matches are always reduced to try and get bigger crowds... BTW I'm a red and was at the sheep match, epic game.

Sit in Trent End..
Never any violence in there, I have a season ticket.

cold-save yer money-not exactly the same post as arsenal at emirates::x
#34
Come on you reds..hope I can get down from scotland for this.
Forest 2-0.
#35
Good deal for a ticket, shame no mention of travel it's a pain in the a*r*s*e for any rovers supporter in blackburn to get there by public transport.

Definitely not the same, there will be noise and atmosphere at this one. Most football grounds have a crowd, emirates has an audience.
#37
Blackburn are making a massive effort to get fans, old and new, to Ewood with keenly-priced tickets.

I travel 180 miles each time I use my season ticket (but was only £199). Just wish a few more locals would make a much shorter journey...

and also cos Forest can't fill their ground! even if they were givin the tickets away i wouldn't go and see the red dogs play ! COME ON BLACKBURN !!!!!!!!!!!
