Thanks markwills and digi :)

just picked one up, looks good but cannot get it working yet as the power adaptor is european, not UK type. Will give them a ring tomorrow and see what they say 'cause it seems a bit strange!

Forgot to add that this is a Commodore Evic musicbox, in the picture the name is hidden by the headset ;)

Not just monochrome, IMHO! :p

Just taken it back and they were going to exchange it (once we'd checked the replacement was OK!) but sales have been suspended now. Probably because all the batch I was supplied from were the same.

Received mine today. Well on the plus side it does play ogg vorbis files just fine, sound quality is good, reasonably quick to skip tracks, it appears as a mass storage device and quite fast to transfer files. On the downside that display is terrible, navigation awkward and it really does feel cheap. But hey, I guess that's exactly what I'd expect. It's the Commodore eVic (google it for more info). Probably won't be buying a 2nd one; I think I'd rather get a second hand iPod or wait for prices to come down on an alternative from a better manufacturer.

Had mine for sometime an I think it's great does all it says, sound is superb and at a good price

this will be the chepist brand they can find / Import hence the earphones covering up the brand name.

Steer clear and get a creative or Ipod.
