1920x1200 is not a 16:9 aspect ratio, it is 16:10!

Most widescreen computer monitors are

Yeah but the point he was trying to make is that the title says 16:9 which is therefore misleading to people who may not double check using the quoted resolution

Decent deal though still

/accidental double post

Good deal, already have a 24, but very tempted to get another.

Only VGA on the viewsonic, OP's has DVI too.

To be honest I'd look to spend £30 more and get something with HDMI too rather than either of these.

Spec for the Viewsonic does not mention DVI though....

Mine wasn't meant as an alternative option to the ops deal, which is very good. Only for people specifically looking for an 16:9 monitor.
I also found it cheaper - http://www.kikatek.com/product_info.php?products_id=92682#specs

Hot! Am looking for a glossy 24" and the Acers and HPs were a bit too much.

...assuming the pixels are square! (which they probably are) :-)

Sadly, the Novatech Sales team are not so hot. After-Sales Dept. isn't too bad but Novatech do like to push you into using their 0871 number...

got it about a week ago and im in love.

To OP 8ms response time seems a bit slow to me when average monitors seem to be 5ms and the Iiyama ProLite E2407HDS 24" has 2ms and HDMI for almost same proce (on back order till April 10th - I have placed my order!)

To cornish nice screen but 26" is a bit too big for most desk users - I tried a 26" as a test run and was too much!!
