Good spot op. I would have ordered had I not just bought mine from Tesco with £10 clubcard vouchers instead.
Update: Tesco reduced theirs to £12.50 so got £7.50 refunded to credit card :)

It will work on 2mb or over (or should do)

Shame they don't have the Sky Sports package?
#10
thanks ordered... even cheaper than the argos deal a while ago at £20 nearly bought one back then but glad I didn't. Thanks for posting!
#11
Great price, ordered, thanks.
I bought a pass from ebay before and it applied to my live account, not sure if you can do this more than once though?
#12
Bought!
Damn you hotdeals

Great deal. Worth getting to stack up the entertainment/movie packages.

Those of you who are new to nowTV, you will have to create an account at nowtv. You have to choose 1 month trial of movies/entertainment. You do have to put in your card details, but you can cancel the trial instantly so you won't be billed when the trial runs out.

That packages included an extra 2 months entertainment package. So it's cheaper but not as long. Works out the same to be honest.

You can only add one pass at a time for each of the movies and entertainment but another pass can be added in the last month of the existing one

Ok - Daft question of the day...

Once your entertainment pass has run out, can this box be used for anything without getting another pass? Does it become useless, or can you still access freeview channels? Can apps be installed on it?

They can be added but only in the last 30 days of a currently applied pass.

It can be used for catch up TV, BBC iplayer, itv player, 4od, 5 on demand. Other apps include Flixster, IGN but apps are fairly limited.

No only one type of channel can be on.... cant have sports and movies membership running at same time for example, or in your case movies and entertainment :)

As you should be able to see on the back of the packaging for the box, if you still have it; all voucher codes expire a year after the date of purchase

If I have a Now TV app (?) installed on a TV set, would I be able to use the voucher with that or can it only be used with the box ?

If I take this to the US will it be compatible (using an HDMI lead) with US TV sets, if I use a proxy to spoof a UK internet location ?
#38
Phew it's getting hot in here, must be the heatwave we're having. Oh no wait - it's this deal.
#39
I never got plex to work, not to say it doesn't work, but plex works well on other devices just not this, followed all the procedures to get plex on now tv got it as an app via the developers mode, I must be doing something wrong, tried getting it to work via my LG NAS device no luck in my case, still its a very good deal indeed, this box is more than capable

No but Plex is much better anyway, much more device support etc.
