Can I ask you a question please? I would like to buy one of these boxes but my question is do I have to put details on it like creit card etcetc, is it possible to just plug everything in and use without the gift of your choice for itvpalyer and bbcplayer? or some sort of egistration is needed in order to use it?
Many thanks

If you don't need the box , you can get a 3 month movie pass for £15.99 off flea bay
#6
No you have to put in your credit card details before any of your passes are activated.
#7

not with a entertainment or movies pass you didn't, which in itself is worth more than the box

Yes they will ask for a card. You can cancel at any time but if you forget it`s £9.99 a month.
Also I had problems connecting to a Virgin router, there are web workarounds ( on error 014 ) but It can be a faff.

You only need to disable network pings on the now tv box, really easy to do

reserved one.

Same price as Currys?? 15% cash back at Currys though on Quidco. Have to say these boxes are very good for catchup TV - if you have good internet. Very tempted to get another for 3 months entertainment pass.

If you already have a box (as I do..got it from now TV and got free month trial ...well worth it for £9.99 had the movie pass for a month free) anyone know if get the month free then the 3 month on top with this AND can you just add code or whatever to original box for the 3 month ...if that makes any sense?oO
#17
As long as you cancel the subsciption at or very near the end of each pass running out then I don't see any problems. You can then add the new code. You need to be on top of the dates for the entertainment and movie pass subscriptions and cancel on time, but if you do accidently run over and end up paying for a month then just use the relevent pass the following month. All of the subscriptions are cancellable ona month by month basis.
The sports passes always expire and don't run into a subscription so you don't have the same problem.
I know a lot of people don't like it but I have a now TV/ arial combo and I really find it easy, I would feel differently though if I wanted the sport all the time the odd week does us.

Don`t want to start an argument here but I actually activated pings , after all the button pressing in sequence , quite a faff for somebody not tech savvy.

Yes, you can register up to four devices on the same account (Now TV boxes or there is a Now TV app on android - not sure about Apple). The app also works with Chromecast.

You can only use two of the devices at the same time though.

does this require an aerial for reception?. Had a freeview box and most channels were fuzzy.

No, just use a coat hanger and wear a tin foil hat and you'll be fine.

No worries - all the watching is done via streaming over the Interweb.

Can you have activate the pass and cancel stright away or do you have to cancel near the date when the pass is about to expire?

Also how easy is it to cancel?
