I'm new to all this. When I look at link it brings up 14 day free trial for newbies which I can do but will I be able to have my free trial then take this offer after? Also I've looked in offers and I can't see where the 2 months for £2 appears. Do you need to access via app to see this? Sorry for being a tech idiot
Yep, bit complicated.
Take out the Nowtv trial - a card will be required - but cancel the trial as soon as you have tested that it works. (The trial will still run the whole 14 days.)
When you apply future offers/vouchers you must write in your diary when the offer/voucher ends otherwise Sky will charge you AFTER the offer/voucher expires. This is how they make money. Or simply cancel a voucher/offer as soon as its working. (Not sure about this but if you apply any voucher before the end of the trial period it may become active immediately rather than starting from the end of the trial period - minor issue.)

The Chromecast bit. If you don't know, this box lets you watch various "content" on your TV using your smart phone as a remote control. EG. Google Play Movies, BT Sports App, iPlayer, 5OD, Channel4 etc and also there's a NowTV app. This means you can throw your NowTV box away. (Unless you value the ethernet connection - the Chromecast is only wifi.)

The offer. To get this offer (2 Months Sky/NowTv Movies for £2) you need to have your Chromecast plugged in and working.
Then click on the above link from your controlling smartphone :- https://www.google.com/chromecast/redeem/
This should open the Google Home app and allow you to get a NOWTV voucher code (amongst other offers - see screenshots in above post) which you then plug into https://account.nowtv.com/passes at any time before 31 December 2016.

Or something like that.

Do I need the nowtv app installed to have the offer appear on Google home? I only have one offer and it's for Google play music.

I'm an idiot, the power for the chromecast video wasn't on (the chromecast audio in the other room was on, hence the gmusic offer).

You have to own a chromecast, if so use the chromecast app which on Android devices is now called Google home (for me it is anyway) left side bar go to offers and you should see the now TV offer 2 months for 2 quid. I've never used now TV before so excited to have this chance for a measly pound a month. Have some heat! :)

Although the LG offer @bitm2007 has commented with might be better as it has an extra month for that extra pound.

Anyone else having trouble with this? Clicking redeem takes me to the NowTV offer page, where it says to log in and the voucher will auto apply. I log in but it just takes me to the NowTV homepage using Chrome or to the app if on Android. No sign of any voucher code, let alone one that auto applies. It's entirely possible that I'm being a bit dim.

Didn't auto apply the voucher here - but code starting "NOW" - was displayed. Manually copy and enter at https://account.nowtv.com/passes

I took a closer look. I get a downloadable plain text file which contains an NowTV url, at the end of which was the code you described, so just entered this in 'apply a voucher' and it worked. Thanks for your help.

Didn't work for me, went through the app and when the code was applied it came up that the code wasn't valid. You must only be able to claim it once- I got one like 6 months ago in chromecast offers so I can't get the offer again :(

Prices seem higher on the website, were these further reduced in store?

Yes, you can.. You don't need NowTV Box.. If you are not able to sign-up through the app, you can do via Laptop.

If this is not working via your Android phone, try opening the Now TV URL on a PC and signing in to your account via a web browser (instead of the app on your phone). The URL is really long so you can email it to yourself or something.

If you sign up for a free 14 day trial on the NOW TV website, then cancel it, you will normally get a better price than that. £3.99 for Movies last time I tried, I think entertainment cheaper.

Movies all free elsewhere - should be Sky Sports

Hi, did the entertainment as he stated new customers only but now can't get the offers on the app for the movie! Just claims it's searching for offers on near by device.. Was working earlier though.
