£40 new Info from Sky/Now TV
CeX give 2 year warranty. Requires aerial for TV channels which is fair enough but would be cool if it could do this via the Internet.

Heat added. Personally I feel aerial one is better as no glitch ing but I believe this has both options. Can someone confirm ?

Would also like to know as I don't have an aerial in my bedroom so would be great if I could watch TV on this without an aerial!

found this on their website....

Do I need an aerial for the NOW TV Smart Box?

No. To watch NOW TV, simply connect the NOW TV Box to your TV and then your existing broadband. You’ll however need an aerial to watch the 60 Freeview and 12 HD Channels.

shame for those without an aerial in the bedroom, was thinking of doing it, but not now.

Look at getting hold of a Roku (you may be able to do this with a Now box but I don't know as I don't have one) and get the channel add on called FilmOnTV - http://www.rokuguide.com/private-channels/filmontv - this channle has live tv streamed. I don't have an aerial in the bedroom but can watch the majority of freeview channels through this. Quality is very good and so far no glitches in the few months I have been using it. Seems you may be able to do it with NowTV box too but looks a bit complicated. http://blog.artesea.co.uk/2016/01/tvplayer-on-roku-or-now-tv.html

Don't be stupid. Back in 1960 it was what would now be called 377i.

You are both correct.

It's hardly cr*p as it supports the highest quality feed supplied.

This can definitely be done on the original white and 2nd gen black boxes and is very straightforward

I've done this on both my white and black NowTV boxes and it was really simple

So this is where people are off-loading their boxes after they've used the vouchers. I usually give mine to friends, family, elderly relatives, etc.

Really impressed with mine. Well worth the money, though others don't seem to agree.
