Are you sure it's 3 months on any package? Sport is normally only 2 days, I think?
#2
Is it 3 months on any package? It looks like only 3 months on entertainment. Would be interested if 3 months movies
#3
Sorry, it's only 3 months on the entertainment and 2 months on the movie pass. your right on the sports pass, is only 2days. Sorry for the mix up!
#4
Good luck getting one I had horrid customer service from one of the Nottingham stores on xmas eve
#5
ITS £13 for 3 months entertainment, or 2 months movies or 2 day sports passes.

I bought 3 of these two for entertainment and one for movies however they all had entertainment vouchers .The movies is garbage I have now cancelled it the entertainment is OK. Netflix is superior and I also have Amazon prime the kids love Netflix runs well on the apple tv box.

Garbage is a bit harsh. It's a good deal if only to get a cheap box to add smart features to an older tv. The 2/3 month package voucher is just a nice bonus :)

Depending upon your needs, I 'd say it's a reasonable deal.

I just bought two of these from argos (same price now) One with entertainment and the other movies. As you can register up to 4 devices on one account both entertainment and movies work on both boxes! Great deal for around 1000 movies for My kids bedrooms. Cheaper than the £75 a month Virgin I'm paying without the movie channels!!

I bought four of these from Tesco, where is the 3 month pass?
#10
Should say on the box if they come with passes. Not sure about tesco but argos list them seperately with either sports, entertainment or movies. The voucher is inside the box.

Don't forget to reg via Quidco. Mine tracked at £7 with the 3 months entertainment pass.

I've just discovered it is dead easy to stream youtube stuff through this so do I need the google chromecast I just bought as I guess it can be set up to stream other things too?

What is the point of a chromecast? Will it stream anything on my laptop to my tv?
#14
Out of stock near me, picked one up in asda for £15. Impressed so far even if just using it for catch up Tc. Going to stick plex on it tonight to stream from my media server.

You can cast your Chrome browser tab from laptop to TV screen and there are ios and android apps aplenty to cast video from websites etc etc. Chromecast is one of the best little gadgets I have bought this year.

Also got the now tv boxes but might invest in a few more just to extend my entertainment viewing. I have to agree that the movies on sky are pretty garbage, especially if you are paying through the nose for them via the Sky monthly subscription but everyone to their own.

got one in sainsburys this morning with 2 month skymovies pass, sports 2 day sold out,
£15 though.

when you go through the deal on currys it says £19.99, why is that?
#21
Loving my NOW TV box - shame you can only stream two at a time though :-(
#22
Hi just a heads up bought a few from different places came to scratch the voucher card for sky movies and no code under the silver strip.Tried to get in touch with now tv which you have to do on live chat to india anyone had the same problem
#23
If you buy four entertainment pass boxes, you can use four boxes simultaneous I believe, use one pass every three months, that works out 12 months entertainment package on four boxes for £60 per year/ £5 per month for multiroom x 4, not a bad deal.

You can't use 4 to watch TV, once 2 are watching something from Sky the 3rd one is limited to Apps like Youtube or Vevo etc
#25
Does any one here know if the channels on the 4 month package are the HD versions of the channel, such as Discovery HD or are sky wanting you to pay more for the HD service via satellite only. as the blurb on the currys site reads as the viewer will get HD channels.
#26
The picture is certainly clear but I wouldn't 100% say HD - as the boxes are really cheap just pick one up and play with it, you won't be disappointed!
