Hello all.

Just a heads up to everyone supied by npower for both gas and elec. If you pay by monthly direct debit and am on a standard trf ie not Internet trf you can ring em up and say I want to go on football saver 3 trf. This is guaranteed 7% cheaper than standard trf till April 2012.

They said In the meeting that it's a new incentive for new customers but is available for existing customers only if they ask for it and we won't sell it to them without this.

Thought seemed like a decent discount if your on an npower standard trf. There are no costs for ending contract earlier either.

Cheers

be warned, you will suffer if you go with this company. i got a bill after 16 months of going from them for £167 and ended up taking them to court and i won, they demand you still owe them money but you do not. my friend is going through the same thing as i did except they owe her £156 and she still waiting for the money back after over a year.

As a rule if your on a credit meter there is a policy called the late billed policy which according to an ofgem ruling we are only allowed to bill you for the latest 12months. Did you always ring to give readings for them to base your payments on?
