I actually got a really good deal on these. They were all labelled up as "2 for £1" on the shelf but didn't go through the till as such. When I noticed this on the receipt I asked the guy at the help desk why they hadn't gone through with the discount, he then checked on the shelf, refunded the difference and then gave me £2 store credit for being overcharged! So I essentially got 4 cans for nothing. Worth seeing if the discount has made it onto the system yet.

I thought Guiness was "the meal in a glass" until I tried these! :p

So filling...

nice price...

don't see the point of these, they taste nice but it is cheaper just to get milk, they contain a very similar amount of protein as milk
#9
Hmm. Never seen anyone drinking one of these who wasn't wearing a hooded top.

"taste nice" is reason enough for me!

That's maybe because us classier folk prefer to drink them at home out of a glass. :)

Voted hot , round our patch its just the Smack 'eds that buy these, so if they are half price maybe they only have do do over half the grannies?

to the people who don't get the point of these 'meal in a glass' drinks - they're commonly used by people going through chemotherapy as it's a way to gain nutrition when you have little appetite... also by people who are otherwise suffering with weight loss through low appetite or poor metabolism such as the elderly....

so the point you are making is people who have problems and issues drink these?!?!
#13
I love these... Great deal but they have tonnes of sugar im them...
#14
I hope Tesco price match this - no ASDA near me :x
#15
mens fitness done a page spread on this exact drink about a year ago and after reading about its ingredients .... its definately not that healthy for you . was rated very poor. but agree they do taste yummy
#16
Not really a fan of these (a bit sweet for my liking) but a hot deal nonetheless!
#17
If you are drinking essentialy a meal replacement i'd recommend actually looking into what you can get from a supplement store - works out cheaper and less sugar. If you look around you'll find drins made with complex carbs (oats). Not a bad price for what it is tho :)
#18
Without sounding silly.. what exactly are these drinks for?
#19
A meal replacement , caveat emptor
#20
cant find any in the sutton in ashfield store :-( voted hot!

I'll keep my eye out elsewhere.

Available at Sainsburys at 3 for £2. That can't be bad, as Asda normally have this offer too. I'm going to get a few of the chocolate flavours later today! ;-)
