That's the tablet not the TV

Is this not priced at a cheaper price, £150 in the UK.

Its not for sale anywhere in the UK, apart from CEX who sell it for £195 second hand. Even the NVida store has put the price up since Brexit but it hasn't been in stock for months

When i got mine from Amazon UK it came with multiple power adaptors in the box for power,i would imagine this will be the same.

I bought mine from America a long time before the UK sold it and I didn't get any adapters just a US plug. Probably will have been changed my now as you say with multiple adapters but just thought I'd mention it.

Not a bad price really considering the price these sell for used now. But if you aren't desperate for one I'd hang on surely a restock is around the corner.

Yikes, I really want one too! Don't even know why, Id only use it for kodi and I know you can get much cheaper devices, just think it would look really nice under the TV! Guess we are best waiting for more UK stock

Cold, could get this from UK Amazon for £152 during the week. Which is still £2 more than it's original RRP.

You could get it £100 once still doesn't change the fact this is the cheapest you can get it now!! Unless you know anywhere else....

Lack of stock is suggesting limited production runs as they reckon the new version is due to be released. They have more or less been OOS since Amazon flogged them on Prime Day for £100. Got mine on Prime day for £75 after jumping through the other hoops like the Audible trial credit, gift card credit etc etc.

That was the K1 Tablet at £152. Shield TV has been OOS on amazon for a while now.

I ordered mine from Amazon.fr a few months ago as nowhere had stock at a sensible price - it came with various plugs including UK 3 pin

However it was 179.99 Euros and with conversion and delivery I paid £165 I think, still more but I love it and it's worth it to me as the it has the official plex server app

Why on earth are these SHIELD products so hard to buy? It took me ages to find a K1 tablet in this country, it's almost like they don't want to make any money oO

Yes, it's very surprising but I think it's a case of insufficient production coupled with crazy demand, helped along by the fact the Shield TV has enjoyed a number of updates this year making it more capable and useful than ever, the main one being the Plex server but there have been smaller ones like HDR support and I believe HD audio too.

I'm still very surprised they haven't boosted production but I am wondering if it's because of the new one coming (though seems silly not to make the most of the existing model while still popular) or else perhaps Nintendo have put some kind of restriction on how many they can sell to avoid them competing in the same area as the forthcoming switch. Bit far fetched maybe but I wouldn't put anything past Nintendo, they are extremely aggressive about market share....

I bought mine from Amazon in France a few months ago, it's exactly the same as the UK one and you get a UK plug as well as an EU and US. The outer packaging was in French on mine, but it is a slip on cover type so the box underneath was in English. Nvidia are making a new Shield TV but from the article I read it looked like a 'cheaper' version of this one.

From what I have heard a slight new revision is on its way , basically cheaper to make and slightly new specs on peripherals

Good price for both - I ended up paying 159 off ebay, tempted to get the remote too but 35 seems harsh when you can just download an app
