The new nVidia shield tablet is released on 14th August with the 16GB model for £239.98. It's available for pre-order on dabs.com and topcashback are currently offering a £10 voucher + 2.02% cashback on spends over £199. Make sure you go through the topcashback voucher link. Voucher is only valid until 28th July 2014.

I have the previous (7inch, 720p) version, it's great, I would love a 8 inch full HD one with dual band WiFi. Having said that I got mine for 89 quid in December. I hope this comes down in price, although I'm sure it's still good value. The ability to use the wireless game controller and live stream games from your gaming PC is pretty sweet.

I kept looking at the Tegra Note 7 but knew nVidia was releasing their k1 chipset soon so wanted to wait and see what they were going to release. No idea it was going to be the shield though. Hoping it still lives up the hype of offering xbox 360 quality graphics in a tablet. :)

Lukewalker48 you can stream Nvidia games to any android device using Limelight. Doesn't have to be a shield.
